And the Warriors are too boring to watch...And the Giants are being pathetic, will return to them in after August, when things matter. lol

Glorifying climbers is ball cupping too, as glorifying individual athletes is. Although, I don't have an issue with recognizing an athlete, or a climber has skills or passion worth the attention. Organized sports are composed of individual athletes who practice their craft as an artist would, as a climber would. Admiring different kinds of sports, arts, actors or whatever is not too bad, as there is something to learn from all sorts of activities out there.

Yes, for someone with a good amount of extra cash! I did go to a playoff game several years ago, which we got a great deal on, but honestly, I enjoy watching the games in comfort, on TV at home. I can do some productive stuff on my laptop and eat good food that doesn't cost me a fortune.
If Sharks win today in LA, they will advance and play against another team with schedule TBA. If not, next game is in SJ in a few days.

Tarasenko finally showed, but it was too little too late. Sharks showed up in a big way tonight. Good series and congrats San Jose. Looking forward to Game 7 on the other side, but definitely expecting the Sharks to handle whoever comes out of it.

As a western PA native I grew up with the Penguins (well ok so I was almost grown up by the time the franchise started)...
Moving to Santa Cruz I became a Sharks fan from their inception.
I run into the same problem when the Niners and Steelers meet. etc. etc.

My grampa lived in Pittsburgh and took us to a Penguin game back in the sixties.
Been a fan ever since.

DAMN. Tough two losses in very close games. Hope they blow them out at SAP!
When I was a kid I remember watching an action movie about terrorists (?) that planted a bomb at a Penguins Stanley Cup game (?). It was back in Ukraine, I was a child and don't remember the name, or the plot. But remember it was the Penguins playing in overtime. Watching that made me think of the Penguins as NY Yankees of NHL haha. So it is kind of cool they are playing vs the Sharks now. Hope we can have a 2-2 tie after the following two games!

Sudden Death! That movie is so awful but also so good. Some people that I used to live with had a goal to watch every John-Claude Van Damme movie, which is the only reason I know that :)
YES! I think every kid in the Ukraine that was a male watched every single Van Damme movie. As well as every Arnold movie. Terminator 2 was likely the most popular movie for 11 year olds when I was there...have to watch it again some time.

Penguins win . . .
