I'm a one sport guy. Last time I watched football, Roman Gabriel was tossing wobblers over Deacon Jones. Basketball? Huh? I know who Magic Johnson is... Dodger .0057% owner. Hockey... yeah I saw a bunch of octopus being hurled onto the ice and thought it showed some promise, but never watched another match.

After the world series all our TV's are tuned to Bravo and those loopy Housewives of Wherever, and well out of my control.

Pitchers and catchers report around 2/18. Can't wait!

Never an Angels fan. Was a Reds fan when it was the Big Red Machine... Johnny Bench, nuff said.

I was always a pretty big Dodger fan but have soured on them since I can't see them on DirecTV because of the SportsNetLA bullsh#t. Now I root for individual performance, but like to see the organization suk it a bit.

Like the Giants too... I have some Bay Area connections. Liked the Yanks mostly because of Jeter and the antics of Steinbrenner and that whole circus, and murderers row. Like the RedSox too and Fenway.

But the Cubs... they really won me over because every day when I would get up (@ 11am) the Cubs game was coming on, seemingly just for me. That no lights thing really worked well for daytime baseball on TV. And Harry... and Wrigley... easy choice.

On my hatrack there are 3 hats: Dodgers, Cubs, and Giants. I might add a Sox hat for 2017.

Edit: oh and to add...some of my best bro's are from Chicago, including Sooze, and they are all Cubs wacky. Makes it easy.

J.H.C., Russ. I thought you were legit.

I've got some friends who are Yankees fans, too. For which I (barely) forgive them--if they're from New York. Nothing worse than a Yankees fan from, say, Philadelphia. (JD, I'm looking at you.)

the Indians' pitching has been superlative, because they had to be. The Indians' team batting average for the ALCS? .164

Too bad the game wasn't played in Cleveland. Always like to see a team win it big at home
