It wasn't always like this though
Cosmic sent me a PM 2 years ago telling me how he considers me one of his good friends
We joked and had fun on ST for many years before that.
But then he turned to the dark side
I believe that his church brainwashed him to drop all his non-Christian friends/left wingers because they would be a bad influence on him.
Kind of like what most cults do, brainwash you and then make you stay away from anyone that could talk you out of the cult's influence.
It's really sad that most Christian churches now preach right wing propaganda hate along with Jebus's love.
Now he personally attacks me when I post or adds some snarky comment just to let me know we are on the opposite of the spectrum, him an angry right winger, me a happy clappy liberal.
I try my hardest to not respond with an angry counter attack, I know nothing I can say will help him understand his opinions may be wrong (Trump/Republican).

I emailed Cosmic a couple of weeks ago, totally ignoring that he supposedly doesn't like me...
and in the email said something along these lines...
"Let's go climbing!!!"...
Within an hour I got a response as to when he will be heading back this way and we will indeed be climbing together again...
that is great news!
happy to hear Locker and Cosmic have a date!

I had them bad for a couple years
went to a surgeon for him to take a look
and his advice was
Try a high fiber diet (30 grams a day) for a couple months and if they don't go away, come back
and if you do have surgery on them, you will regret it
So I try a high fiber diet, and I quickly find out it's almost impossible to eat 30 grams of fiber a day with just normal foods....
So being the scientist I am, I look for simple ways to cheat
and lo and behold, I find that if I take a 1/2 teaspoon of Psyllium (no added sugar) husks with every meal, I find the cure to more than just hemorrhoids,
I feel better, I never have problems shitting, I lost weight, and other stomach problems went away.

Don't care to get involved w/the dirt here. Just like to say:
I met Cosmic during my very early days of hanging in HVC. Iirc, he took me up one of my first JTree routes; Frosty Cone. At 5.6, favoring a route he knew I would succeed on rather than something he could show off on. I doubt I even owned a rope or proper harness at the time. Generous with what he had: time, gear, and knowledge to share.
