Hi everyone!

I'm Spanish and this June I have in mind going to Yosemite all month long. The problem is that I'll go alone and I would like to know if it's dificult to find climbing partners there for trad climbing and bigwall.
Here in Spain I climb 5.10b/5.10c and I have done a few A3, but all that in limestone and conglomerate rock, I have never climbed seriously in granite Quite different i think...haha

If anyone can give my some advice or is going to Yosemite this june and has'nt got partner I will be gratefull!!!

Thanks a lot and good climbs for all!

A the camp 4 campground there is a kiosk where you pay for your campsite. There's a bulletin board there. It's easy to find partners.

Start off on shorter and easier climbs and work your way up. Both to get used to the Rock and the climbing and to make sure you get along with your partner.

You can also post on mountain project that you are looking for a partner. https://www.mountainproject.com/v/northern-california-partners/105083665

Spend some time hanging out on the El Cap Bridge, and you should be able to find a wall partner. I'll be there then and can help you out.

Hello
I'll be in Yosemite in june as well, for 3 weeks, and I'm looking for a climbing Partner.
I'd like to climb Salathé and Tangerine Trip and may be other routes.
I've already climbed The Shield, the Nose, Mescalito, POW, Zodiac and 2 times the Half Dome.
Used to climbed here in France in granite and limestone.

Just a heads up, you guys might have to get a little creative with your lodging if you're planning on staying that long:
There is a 30-night camping limit within Yosemite National Park in a calendar year; however, May 1 - September 15, the camping limit in Yosemite is 14 nights, and only seven of those nights can be in Yosemite Valley or Wawona.

Not that it can't be done, just don't expect to lounge in the same spot for 30 days straight, especially in peak season. And if you don't already have spots reserved, well, be ready to get in line early at Camp 4.

Yeap ! I read this and I asked Rangers how I can manage my 3 w.journey in Yosemite valley regarding these rules. Not easy ...

My conclusion is either to get a car to go out the valley for some nights, either to reduce my time in Yosemite valley (from 3 to 2 w.) or to overpass the rules ...

Any advice from your experience to share ?

The Valley is too hot , smokey ,& crowded in June . That is why Tuolumne Meadows & Sawtooth Ridge, among others, is a better destination.
