When we were at Buenos Aires NWR a couple years ago they told us there
were two of them. It's kind of sad in that I really don't see how they
exist for other than the guys who are, in effect, making a living off them.
If they ever managed, or allowed, to get a bunch of them running free there
would be more howling than all the coyotes in all of AZ, especially when
they started munching on people sneaking across the border at night.

El Jefe was named last fall by students at Felizardo Valencia Middle School in Tucson, whose mascot is a jaguar.
I sincerely doubt these kids had Chapo in mind. People call Castro that too. It simply means chief.
I'm just glad they haven't elected to tranq and track this guy, like they did Macho B.
