I've learned so much on this thread, truly brilliant Jefe.
Some of the OGs here have a way different outlook on spray than the climbers of today for sure. Perhaps the meaning has evolved or was lost in translation.
Very aggressive & self centred is the main dif I notice. #spraylords_of_today are much more on the passive side of aggressive generally and spray is not limited to oneself.

I appreciate the egotistical nature of the #olden_day_spray though, laughing my ass off here reading BVB and guymans posts.
Full on dick measuring contests must have been the norm around the fire in the 80's, with sword fights deciding the winner in case of a tie, and rematches common.
