Twin Towers? So now my route Pressure Cooker got re-named by some fat guy with a camera sitting at a bridge who has never and will never climb it?

OK, got it.

Yay for Meg!

Tom, that overhang shot is scary!--looks like there's lots more
to come out of the center of that thing yet.

Klaus... your route didn't get renamed. Those golden rectangular features never had a name... so in memory of the people lost in 9-11 we (the climbing community climbing here now) decided to name those features the "Twin Towers", as they remind one of those towers. BTW Pressure Cooker is a good route that probably lost some features in recent rockfalls ..it was climbed by Nicky and Alik a few years ago and they liked it a lot...made for some great photos too.

Sorry but you are wrong. Those golden features already had names from over 20 years ago. Have you ever bothered to look in a guidebook? I figured you were just ignorant.

I read in one of your previous "reports" that you yourself named it, now it's "the community"? which is it?

I will tell you what Klaus... I don't think you are a person I want to communicate with.. you are rude, nasty, argumentative and make no positive contributions I have seen on this site. You were once a great climber that many of us looked up to... but that has passed... now you just sit around, whining and moaning about how everyone is offending you in some way or another... so just bug off. The community liked the idea of the twin towers name I suggested several months ago... so it was agreed upon. Since you never come here, preferring to spray from home, you missed out on it. Twin towers is surely a better name than anything you might have thought of 20 years ago. So whine all you want... it is about your problems and how you fail to deal with them...not about other people offending your sensitive nature.

What if Tom renamed The Cuntress the "American Freedom" pitch???? Could you imagine???? Dogs and cats in barbershop quartets, peace in the middle east, climbers would be cured of their alcoholism - mayhem.

What were those golden rectangular shapes called before?

The natives called them Dose-Too-Gol-Dtings, LONG before John Salathe decided Pitons could be improved and people went camping on El Cap instead of where it's flat and beer is within walking distance.
