Nice Mark,

Congratulations on your proud send. You are looking pretty plush here! I guess you had good weather. Did you ever even break out your custom fly?

Yeah, it was pretty lux.

No, the weather was too nice! I was sort of hoping it would rain so I could test it out.

Have to say those Eubanks Photos are sensational.

Nice work on the scans!!!!

Cool how you can really get a feel of that section from those two routes.

Thank you very much!

I am pretty sure that I remember this correctly about the 3rd of the SOD.

Rob Slater, who did the FA of the Ranch with Barbella and later died on K2, went up with Randy Leavitt. Randy fell on Hook or Book and broke his ankle or something.

Then they rapped down and Slater nabbed Mike O'Donnell and jugged back up and finished it. O'Donnell could tell hilarious stories. Good thing he was a super nice guy, because that guy was a physical animal. His neck was as big as my thigh and he was solid gristle.

He used to torment me when I did something stupid around C4.

Robbie was a great guy for anyone who knew him. Totally funny. I can still do a perfect imitation of him. He is still missed.

Both are from Mescalito.
