Hi to Everyone on Super Topo,
I'm celebrating my birthday at Tenaya Lake in Tuolumne this Wednesday! Everyone is invited, would love to see you. I'll provide lots of lovely food including Mojo de Ajo, Chile Colorado and Pork Chile Verde. Bring your own beverage. We will be on the West end of Tenaya and have at least one paddle board and kayak for everyone to use.
Have missed the Campfire this summer. No service up here at Tioga Pass Resort. Cheers, Lynnie

Been by TPR several times but the hours weren't right for a visit

Boss let me have internet privilege for my Bday. :) Leaving now with friends and staff for Tenaya Lake. It is an all day party til dusk. From 395 go west on 120 to the very end of Tenaya Lake....not the first beach you see, the last beach....I'm hurrying so maybe some one can explain better.
No water skiing but we have canoe, kayaks and paddle board all free to use.
Thanks for the wonderful wishes everyone. I count you all as special friends!
See you there and YES, a frisbee would be cool.

Great to hang with the FishFinder and see Lynne and Dick Cilley again today!
A very happy birthday to a great lady - wish I had taken some pics at the party!
Soloed Tenaya Peak again, this time in 2 hours car-to-car before the party - passed 9 roped-up climbers on the way...on a Wednesday morning!
Best alpine solo I have ever done, just damn fun with enough route-finding to keep the interest.
Definitely celebrating life today - thanks for the invite and good eats and friends, Lynne!

Was going to come up today (Tuesday) but have some bills to pay, so won't be up till Wednesday pm. So will probably miss your Tenaya Party.

PS- Do you need any more Ellery Guides? I'm almost sold out. The response has been amazing! Working on a second revised edition right now. Oh boy! Since Lonnie Kauk soloed that 5.7 Back Bone arete in Ellery Bowl I want to get that in there too. A poor man's West Ridge of Conness but just as photogenic.

Just a reminder out there to you all to come and celebrate this girls 100th birthday
It's Saturday September 3rd at Teneya Lake
Great Food ,Friends and Fun
A great way to enjoy the lake on kayak or sup
Rumor has it that Russ of @fishproducts is a huge admirer and will be there with his kayak
He even has a purple tandem that he will paddle Lynnie in and feed her grapes
So hop in the car and bring some beer or wine and a dish
Last year was a blast
Pass the open area of Teneya Lake and about 3/4 miles down the road on the left you will see a huge Silver van that looks like it holds 12 foreign tourists
Yep that's Lynnie's van. Mr E is pictured next to it up thread
Good times!!!!!
Edit: I'm so one track minded. The above directions are if your coming from the Tioga Pass entrance

Hoping the TM Post Office and TM Store can make it! Spending today making preparations. Thankfully my van is fixed and up and running again.
Don't let the line into the park worry you. This week it has been non existent. It may be a Holiday next weekend, but where else can you have a little traffic backup and see Dana, deer, streams, meadows, peaks and ponds while waiting. I just wonder why people stress so much....look to the vistas and reflect on life. Cheers, lynnie

Fishfinder....it was Henny that helped so much, even brought his canoe...which met the H2O in an unpleasant way. The girls just wrung out their clothes and Henny rescued the ice chest. :)
