I would say thats part of it among some people, but to me its more just simply that he is liberal. John Kerry is white and he was swift boated.

Is there an example of this type thing being done by liberals to a conservative? I'm not trying to raise up liberals as some bastion of goodness. I'm just curious if someone has an example.

Kerry's treatment was different. The whole "born in Kenya" /not native bit were code words for "hey, he's black."

Why isn't the right up in arms that Cruz was born outside America? They certainly were about Obama, even after Obama proved he was born in America and its established that Cruz wasn't . I haven't seen a single person up in arms about Cruz being born outside the country.

Because Obama is black.

And all people who are ridiculing Dr. Ben Carson are only doing so because he is Black. There can't be any other possible reason. It is blatant racism I tell ya!!

If BHO was such a brilliant student, why are his records still sealed?

There was a black Republican last cycle that was "swiftboated" by the establishment ad the black buck rapist. (the libs and the RINOs had common cause)

Turns out that was all made up.

The Nation was trying to smear Poppa Bush for bailing out of his flaming TBM. They claimed he should have stayed in the plane with his crew.

I think, TGT, that everyone's academic records are private.

Great answer dirtbag. If Dr. Ben is actually the nominee (fat chance) there is going to be a lot of internal gastric anxiety in quite a few of the, well, southern states. I've lived in Alabama and Florida (the worst) and know what I'm talking about. Ben is ...... a smart man but a moron. Cruz on the other hand is a smart man but a fascist; I have no desire to put my fate in the hands of mighty Ted - he won't like me and may have me sent to a 're-education' camp.

And as far as the 'natural born citizen' BS, Cruz is a natural born citizen of the US if his birth was registered with the American Embassy in Canada as an 'American born abroad'. I know this because I was and have that paper to prove it. Even though I was born in New Zealand I am an American by birth, because of my father, and a Kiwi, because of my mother. I hold both passports and can be president and am willing, in fact excited, to throw my candidacy into the ring. A PAC is at this moment being formed where you can send your money. I'll spend it wisely.

So exactly what are the "fascist" statements of Cruz?

The only fascist activities recently have been by Hildebeest's acolytes threatening comedians, and ivy league brownshirts.

Well he has said that gays don't have the right to marry. What say you, Wendell?
Oh, and I hope you are better at answering than your cohort, Jody.

Two people of the same sex cannot marry, by the very definition of the word.

They can have the same legal rights, no problem with that, but marriage is about culturally insuring the stability of the family and raising children, not sexual preference.

Progs seem to be the ones obsessed with sexual definitions and the deconstruction of the concept of a family.

Well, TNT, you've stated your belief very clearly. However, as usual, you are on the wrong side of public opinion and history.

Well, that's not the case. They don't have the same rights as domestic partners. Which is why two friends of mine wanted to get married.

We could care less about your sexual proclivities.

Then why do you care who marries who?

Actually, repubs seem to care a LOT about sex. What's with the ongoing attack on the right to use contraceptives? That's really where the whole anti-abortion thing is headed. The whole evangelical attack on one's ability to exercise some sort of control over whether one has children or not is motivated by a desire (ha!) to control others bodies and minds. I for one am getting pretty f*#king damned tired of others trying to tell us how to behave!!! Do what you want, believe what you want, but leave me and mine alone and don't expect us to conform to you distorted ideas. I won't ask you to conform to mine, distorted and perverted as they may be.

My wife told me that as a child, her parents belonged to some sort of 'church' that told little girls that they should pray to die before they were thirteen so that they could go to heaven before they were sinful. What they were really saying was that as soon as a girl had her period she was impure and would go to hell. Do people actually believe this sh#t? Yes, they do and to try and force that sort of bullshit on little children is awful and should send you to the deepest depths of hell, if it exists, which I doubt.

So you're saying that if two people get married who do not wish to have children or are incapable of having children they are not married by the very definition of the word?

So, to be clear, if my daughter, who is gay, has a child and is married to another woman, you would support her right to be married, because that would "culturally insuring the stability of the family and raising children, not sexual preference"?

Carson is a neurosurgeon, there's no denying that. Must be an idiot-savant thing, much as happens with music.
