It is not arrogance, it is incredulity. Arrogance is your projection.
I am not advocating apathy, I am just having a hard time believing how many people see him as viable choice for president. I, for one, will be first in line at the polls to help ensure this country does not become the laughing stock of the free world.

Rubio will be toast after Super Tuesday. Kasich would be fine if he would stop chopping with his hands and talking too much. Carson becoming a somewhat humorous tagalong. Cruz is completely unelectable on both coasts, hence not gonna make it. Hillary would be great . . . if she wasn't Hillary. Thinks she can get away with anything. But she'll probably be our next CEO.

My bet is on Hillary.
I'm not excited over any of the choices, but since Donald has foot and mouth disease, he will go down in flames, yelling all the way.
At least Hillary will have someone advising her, behind the scenes, who really wasn't a bad POTUS, and kept us out of debt; even if he couldn't keep it in his pants, while in the oval office. There were other great leaders with the same problem; including FDR, but they were great presidents.

I don't care what they do, and any man would have lied as Clinton did to try to protect his

I simply didn't and couldn't imagine that Trump would still be in the race at this point, let alone be the clear leader, so I bet $ with my thoughts months back. I can't imagine any scenario where Trump is the Republican candidate. Not. Gonna. Happen. He's up over 20 percent in the polls over the next most popular dude right now, but even the most clueless will be waking up at some point, and when they do, I imagine that the hangover and regrets will rival looking into your angry wife's eyes the morning after any hooker, heavy drinks and multiple drug overdose evening.

Donalds 33% defy's belief to me. It's like I'm on another planet. The mans knee jerks up so hard and so frequently you wonder how his chin can take those off the cuff reactions he so easily spews. And some of them I agree with too. In either case, I have a sizable bet that he is NOT the republican candidate, and seeing him have almost double the nearest repub contender in the polls is making me nervous.
OK, I missed this one. Still not ready for Trump. Sigh.....I can, however, now clearly imagine that scenario I was unable to imagine back in August. It's going down as we speak. Super Tuesday is all but owned by Trump per the polling numbers. Bernies numbers, on the other hand, look like trash.

but what big problem do you have with Bernie Sanders?
It's not like you make a huge enough income that if any of his proposals became
law that you would have to pay any extra federal tax

I've been watching Republican debates and they leave me feeling sick to my stomach. Trump doesn't discuss issues - he acts like a juvenile bully with crude ad hominem attacks. When his opponent starts to make a telling point he immediately shouts over him so the point can't be heard. Any high school debate would be more dignified and more intelligent.
"I love the undereducated!" says Donald. And well he might. You can hear them screaming approval when he speaks.

The man who yammered on and on, and on some more, demanding that President Obama present his (birth certificate)papers, now doesn't want to make his own papers public. What a surprise.
Of course there is plenty f time to put the pressure on. He says the audits will be completed in 2-3 weeks (the news article says that being audited does not present any real problem with posting one's returns; but that one cannot be compelled to do so). My thinking is he is strategizing to get past Super Tuesday and gain delegates that he might otherwise lose.
But if that time comes and goes, we are going to need a catchy name for the Movement to nudge him into doing what every other candidate has already done.

I am not surprised Trump is likely to be the republican candidate. A big chunk of the right in this country is delusional. The only thing surprising is that they are okay with his more reasonable positions. I'd guess 60% of republicans in this country are delusional, bigoted in the classic sense, won't compromise and can't be reasoned with. While only maybe 10-20% of dems are far left, demonize the rich, bigoted in the classic sense, won't compromise and can't be reasoned with. Of course to those 60% of delusional Rebublicans say anyone who isn't a true conservative is one of the 10-20% of far left dems. They argue against the far left to try to make themselves sound more reasonable but showing they don't understand there is a whole spectrum of views self identifies them as delusional.

Moose, haha, that was just my reaction some 20 years ago after I started watching Melrose Place, a sitcom on CBS I think it was, that followed Star Trek Voyager. It seemed like suddenly it just got very disgustingly and wildly immoral... driven by ratings and the most base instincts... and thus depressing... and I wondered what kind of message this was/would be sending out to the youngest esp. I stopped watching. Little did I know it was just the tip of the iceberg to a lot more to follow.
