Light, cheapish, 40 degrees. For backpacking, not car camping.

I checked the outdoor gear lab, but most are pretty spendy.

Anyone?

You lost me at cheapish. I have an un-used Marmot Plasma that weighs like 18 oz
and is good to 35 or 30 if your thermostat runs hot. Marmot only says it
is a 40F bag but they are way conservative. It is too short for me (6-1)
and I couldn't return it cause I got it in a pro deal. I would sell it to
you for $175 which is a good $75 under list, if not more. I liked it so
much I paid retail for a long model.

Hey Reilly, $175 seems like a steal for that bag. Hold onto it for a week or so, and I'll gladly take it off of your hands. Got a photo?

I could take one but you'll find plenty on line I wager.

HOLY COW! I just checked and it is going for $383! DOH!
Because it's you I'll stand by my offer but if you don't take it
the price goes up. I totally forgot how much it was! I ain't
gonna spring for the shipping though. :-0 (not that it will be much)

I'm all in. Got paypal? I'll send you the money next week.

Edit; this looks like a really really nice bag. $200 seems to be a more fair price, just so we are both happy with the deal.

I wouldn't turn down the 2 hun so I'll pick up the freight.
I would take a check from you but you prolly don't do checks.
I have a Paypal account but have no idea how to use it. :-o
I actually checked to see if it was still alive a month or so ago.
I guess I could learn myself up on it if you don't do checks.

Not cheap but I highly recommend the feathered friends VIREO. It's relatively adaptable too. I've done some cold nights in it with a belay jacket on.

Check out Sierra Trading Post. They have bags at deep discounts. Most are quality manufacturers like marmot or sierra designs.

Another vote for Feathered Friends...super high quality, good customer service, and made in the USA!

You already got your bag, but I just want to say my western mountaineering alder is the shizz. There are lighter bags, but the comfort level is high. And it's warm.

Reilly's the man!

The bag showed up today and I've got to admit, I'm a gear nerd. This puppy is light, and shiny!

Thanks Reilly!

That's a relief, after I spaced out on insuring it! DOH! Enjoy, Brandon!
I'm happy it went to you!

I have a Feathered Friend's Roc Wren. Not cheap, but perfect for Sierra summers. Compact like a Nerf football, and you can wear if like a robe if you need to walk around. Mine is 20 years old and has held up well. It's rated about 40F.
