So......just out of interest, ;) which is it? Aug 14th (Friday) and 15th (Saturday). Or as the web site says, August 13th and 14th (Thursday and Friday)?
Patty and I are planning on being there.

The Ocean called me as well. Just a week early for the Monterey Shootout. Sitting here with kev watching him nurse a hangover. off to do some diving and then over to the awards ceremony where we hope to clean up.

yeah, diving is canceled for the morning. he was going to sit on the beach and watch me dive. brunch instead.

Chris and Patty....have fun, you'll love it there and the sushi will be awesome. The climbing can be burly but there is some mellow face climbing to jump on while you allow the wounds on your knees and elbows to coagulate.
The rock is excellent but there are sometimes crystals in the cracks....bring tape!

No Dingus on an electric bike, but I did capture this on my cell phone. The electrical storms were pretty cool this time and this sequence happened in about 1.5 sec.
Oh yea, and some climbing happened...
