I broke L 1, 2, and 3 in 1977. No surgery required then, but I often feel it these days. Your in a hospital close to Whistler I presume, eh Bruce. If so , they have plenty of practice and you are in good hands.

edit:
JT was pretty minor
.. Rick, Yeah right...I remember the first day you got back to camp..I snuck over to your camp spot at night to make sure you were still alive...
It freaked me out that you exited the hospital early.. you looked pretty gnarly.

No Nita, construction site acciden overt two years prior. JT was pretty minor. Had a bad period from 76-80, but pretty much completely injury free since. I think it pretty safe to say that during that four year period that I broke as many, or more, bones than any living member of this forum. Lucky I had world class orthopods in SLT to put me back together.

Update of Bruce's condition, surgery and pins yesterday, sitting up by tomorrow, back home within a few days. They're going to fuse three of his vertebrae so no casts and signatures.

No Sci then. I figured since they didn't go in right away. What a relief. I had a friend go through the same injury. Bruce will be fine before he knows it.
