Anyone repairing old CCH Aliens?
Is there anyone that will replace trigger wires on any cam?
I've tried but apparently god gave me bumbly fingers and i can't even replace a Camalot wire set without screwing it up

Maybe Bernie at Mtn Shop in Yosemite? He fixed one of my aliens a few (or more?) years ago, and said it would take a few days but when I came by the next morning it was already done. (At that time I think he charged $10.)

I've had good success with picture framing wire. I use solid wire, not braided.

Wired Bliss will repair and resling just about any cam you send them. They totally rebuilt an alien I bootied in the Black Canyon. It was frozen up and all rusty, now I place it regularly!

Here is a few photos of my repair of my alien with a paper clip.
I broke a wire on a my orange alien. I went to the wilderness exchange unlimited to get a new one and they told me that they do not make the larger sized aliens any more. I went home and found a post that said that since the wires are not load bearing use a paper clip or a safety pin.
I had to use a small paper clip as the others were too large to fit through the hole.
I did not take a before picture but here are a few after ones.
It took about 5 minutes and required wire cutters, and needle nose pliers. I also used regular pliers.
Steps.
1) Remove old wires
2) unfold paper clip
3) put paper clip through cam lobe hole
4) bend paper clip 90 degrees about 1/8 inch from end
5) put other end through hole on trigger
6) push cam lobe down to match other side and bend wire up over trigger
7) clip off paper clip leaving about 1/2 to 5/8 inch
8) wrap around wire twice (or close to twice)
9) make sure end of wire in pointing down to minimize catching on other stuff.
