I've been an American League fan since I was a kid in Phiily in the 50's. The Yankees had Mantle and all that the Phillies could serve up was singles hitter Richie Ashburn.....pretty weak sauce.

September already..... The Boys in blue have a 5 game lead on the Giants and we are getting some of the regulars back just in time for the play offs.
God is Happy I guess.

Da Bums are looking halfway respectable, especially if Kershaw is sound.
They might have enough pitching to dispose of the Cubbies and that would hurt.

This bullpen is a burning pile of bat guano!!! They have killed the season for us and if we some how manage to squeak into the post season I can't imagine is winning a serries with this dumpster fire.

Should have left Madbum in, he was energized after the spat with Puig and only had 97 pitches. He could have gone the distance for sure!

I am really going to miss listening to Vin Scully.... the voice of the Dodgers.
When I listen to him, it brings back memories of sitting in my grandpas work truck, listening to Dodgers vs Giants and drinking Hamms Beer....
Its to bad the western div race is not neck and neck this year... but don't worry, Dodgers - Giants is always epic to enjoy.... might be the HATE factor.
But to me its a good sort of hate, I would love to see you guys covered in mud or pig poo... sort of hate.
anyway, I am going to really enjoy the remaining games.
