Sorry, healyje, Haven't been able to contact Jack Turner, yet. I asked Tom Turiano but he didn't know. Exum guides weren't answering when I called. A ranger at park headquarters believes he no longer lives in Moose but thought he might be living in Jackson. I tried a Jackson directory at the Idaho Falls library, but it was dated and had no listing for Kim.

It might be Cardiff, CA. I heard he had a winter residence there in the past.

Sorry to say folks that I could have been mis-informed, I hadn't seen him since Can't Say had brought him over to where we lived in San Diego, and that was years ago. I don't exactly remember where I heard this but am overjoyed to hear that it may not be true. He was an excellent person to be sure when I hung out with him.

Why do you want his address? Are you writing a guide book? :(

No, I'm generally not into guidebooks but there are some of us interested in the early history of the place and routes, tracking down other old Beacon climbers, and generally learning a bit more about what went down there in the 60's and 70's.

Too bad Avery Tishner is not still around. Have you tried Dean Caldwell?

Kim is a survivor, to be sure. And an inspiration in many ways...

Have not seen you for quite some time.
Thanks for posting up on Kim.
How about Ms Dermitzakis (sp)?
I would love to give her a call; I heard she's a Bay Area nurse practitioner honcho...

I hope all is well with you!
Cheers,

Roy daddyo,

You are welcome to my old dated book. :)

Maybe I can figure out a way to make it up to you for your early CityRock efforts somehow. I might have a few plastic holds you could use for target practice, or make a sculpture or sumpin.

I am trying hard to come out to Denver Oct. 18-20 for a conference, if I pull it off I will definately visit!

Big smooch to ya
