I don't think it hurt that much, but bb is pretty smart to retreat & pick a new line and I'm confident that bb did not slip, but actually planned it out.
Other than that, all I can say is that I agree with Mhand Ait Laasri that:

It's well know about bears that they are adept at climbing trees despite their heavy weight. However, as to climbing mountains and stone cliffs, this was less-widely known. There was a video clip recorded by an American woman who noticed two Mexican bears trying to climb up a mountain summit fraught with danger. At one point, the mother leaves her cub by itself, and continues on her way. The cub is left to find for itself in this dangerous position.

What gets me is how deliberate BooBoo was. Even the controlled downslide
was like totally under control!

Another interesting observation is that mama had no doubts about bb making it. Bear mamas are very protective.

Wow. Over 2 mil 800 thou views, too. Imagine if one of the bears had picked up a golf club. But we know that climbing is way down inside us.
