Jesus Cam, when you jump onto ST, which is not very often, you being the entire gang with you. What a nice walk down memory lane. Appreciate the effort to share these wonderful images with us.

Thanks, Dean.
Thanks, Joe. You know, Joe, my feeling is most of the stuff on ST is ridiculously UN-engaging. That reflects on the person doing the posting, I guess. My two cents.
These were pics that were really easy to get to. I have dozens and dozens more. Plus a mountain of video. Gotta start digging.
The pic I really want to post is Silvo Karo and Craig Luebben hanging out together in Huaraz.
Cheers,
Cam
P.S. I need to send you copy of my Harding audio. It's a riot. Three in the morning we're watching tennis, the French open or some such, and drinking Warren's pre-made Manhattans (he had about two gallons worth of frozen Manhattans in the freezer----basically, big square blocks of ice.
Cam: "Uh, Warren, those huge blocks are all frozen Manhattans?"
Warren looks at me sideways.
Then his index finger shoots straight up to emphasize the point.
"We know what we're doing."

Terrific Cam. You must have been considering the idea of a book comprised of all these images. You probably have even more. So often climbing shots reveal nothing of the person whereas yours are full to the brim! Thanks so much.

Great Stuff, thanks for Posting this collection of photos.
On an early Trip to India,I was in Darjeeling staying in a little musty room. And would have my wake-up Cup at this little shack built on stilts perched on a Hillside, with one Window Framing the incredible views of what I remember as being K2?
"Coffee please" What? no Coffee in Darjeeling, well make it Tea.I walked up and over to the "Everest Museum" another little Musty Room,Where I was transported back in Time. One of the things I remember seeing was a pair of custom, Hand Made Leather Mountaineering Boots that belonged to Willi Unsoeld
Just a Pair of Boots you say?.Yes but they ended abruptly, just below the Laces.amazing.Ken.

Just a side story. When I first got to CO Springs and was climbing at Garden of the Gods, Becker and crew showed up. I put him on a hip belay. One of his crew put a sticht plate on my chalk bag belt. I was a NOOB and a bit dazzled. It was simply an over hand knotted belt. When everyone turned around to watch him climb I went back to the hip belay. Fer had me lower him. Took six weeks for the rope burns to heal.

I just found this. Thank you so much! It was great to see so many old friends I haven't met again since the 1960's. Some I wouldn't have recognized without the names labeled. I'm sure they would probably say the same about me. Nostalgia plus!

An interesting follow-on idea for this thread, based on comments above: Name(s) and/or number of people in these photos who you've climbed with.
Me: Two.
George Lowe, 1975, Yosemite. George was shepherding four or five Russian climbers on an official friendship mission from the USSR and let me tag along for a day.
Charlie Fowler, early 1970s, some obscure crag(s) in Utah.

Let 'em rip, Bruce. But maybe a bit bigger so we can see their faces a mite better.
Here's Juan-er-nator Dusseldorf pontificating to a young punk in Arches. Either Eric B or my wife Annie B took this. Or maybe Luke Laeser. Or....hell, who gives photo cruddup in this day and age (and who says "day and age"? Whassup with that, home slice?).

Mostly just a bump for Cam's incredible pictures.
Sorry Cam, that some of mine are not more portrait like.
This is me, Keith Royster and Jay Kerr on top of Serpentine Ridge, Dragontail Peak. We soloed almost the entire route, pretty sporty in places!
Jay and Keith did the 2nd ascent of Rooster Comb in AK, and Jay did at least one FA and 2nd ascent on Huntington I believe. He has some great TR's on Supertopo as Alpinista55.

Did anyone else feel that was just a wee bit harsh? Maybe some sort of Aussie related humor? I don't get it.
I was honoring a friend of many of ours, who dug out a solid place in climbing history through his life, antics, and photography. Was it not clear that it was an attempt to continue the spirit of this fine thread?
