hey there say, survival and all...

thanks very very much for letting me know that they got there IN time... i was a tad worried, as, i was late this year... had a few projects, so i BOLDY thought i could handle writing them in the night time hours...

but wow, you know what.... :O
writing is a lot like reading, hee heee, NOW i know what folks mean
when they say they 'start to fall asleep' oh my...

a few started to get garbled and messy and i had to fix them...
and two others, i nearly mixed the similar name with a next-line address, :)

this year, too, i sent them in 'state wide sections' hoping
to cross the country quicker, too...

west coast, first, etc, etc, ... and last, was the east coast...
and local...

say, and a HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to my boston-stamp fairy!!!
she makes the majority of this possible, each year!

(and, leiela beine ACTUALLY MET my stamp fairy, one day, when she went
over to help 'the stamp fairy' with some shelves) :)

wow!
this year, i had cards ready, as was able to plan ahead, so no homemade
ones, this year, :) (though they are fun! i just had too much to do)...

lastly (rounding this out, as if a TRIP report):
i recently had a friend put this NOTE in MY card, here,
locally, and i really thought 'wow' this really says how one feels:

so:
so very thankful for you all, and for a 'once a year, sit back and savor your friendship, time...

life is a journey...
'hostels', along the way, instead of hostiles,
make life's journey, a treasure...
and make you want to keep trekking, no matter how hard, long, lonely, happy, full, busy, or complex, or--'whatever'... :)

happy good safe, and sweet family season to you all, and to all those
that i do not have address for, as well...

great to chiloe, that east coast, are getting theirs now...

Neebee needs to be rewarded and taken care of every chance we get. Her impact on our community is over the top. I did one little thing for her a long time ago and she is relentless on her appreciation for it. My two girls have basically no idea who she is and speak of her and love her dearly.

Got home today and the only thing in my mailbox was my NeeBee card! Now that is pretty darn special.

it comes from my mommy... >:D<

and, by the way-- her last year christmas was awful, as my daddy was in hospital and going to die--though they did not know--and he never came home for christmas...

this year, 'in her box' meaning her house:
for this PRE week time,
was a full house of family members, giving her
the 'old time family memory type christmas'...

so what she taught me to do, is now 'coming BACK to her'...

wow... thank you susan... i needed to hear those words...
'spirit of earler times' (simple times, etc)
now:
she still has christmas eve and day, to get through as well, but these
upcoming days were a very hard sad and confusing time for them...
and they are ' under her belt ' ...

hope the christmass will go nice... i have that hope, now, since the
last few days, (dec 19-22) went so nice, just now...

Hey Neebee,
I picked up a little box from you at the post office, and it is waiting along with the "special Secret Santa Side Kick" package for Christmas to be opened. Thank you neebee and my special side kick for helping me with Christmas this year. I get to do more stuff in a couple of weeks, and am looking forward to being back around here more then.

i love cards so very much! and how they make folks smile!!!
they last the whole year long!! and even more, so, when tucked away in
boxes and rediscovered, years later... :)

i always put the EPILEPSY AWARENESS note on the envelope, too:

a long time ago, on the one epilepsy web site, folks were wondering
WHAT kind of things to do, to make folks THINK about:
'what to do for a seizure' etc...

so, i thought if i put that on the envelopes, that every mail person, and all kinds of folks, would see the message... and maybe LEARN what to do...

and my jake ranch series...
well, it could get folks curious to want to see what it is like, for families that have epilepsy or head injuries, in their family and how they work to 'overcome' them... :)

We opened the gifts and cards today, all dozen of them and neebee was there.

You are golden, sister.

I cooked up a nice dinner and opened a nice wine and old Boris got more than the usual gristly bit. We settled in for a movie and my good old buddy Dave Yerian called to share his goodness. Of all my family and friends, he was the only one to call me today. That meant a lot. You do too. Bless your Heart.
