not a great atmosphere, and the turbulence near the ground was close enough to provide distortion... but also not a long way to go to get the shot!

I was waiting over an hour for the moon to lower itself into the frame.
I was hoping it would center itself right behind Jack's sign, creating a poor man's eclipse, but it was a little off. It seems there was a thick layer of dust lower down on the horizon from the windy conditions the last few days.
Tonight is technically the full moon, but who knows what the sky will be like, so here you are.
