So TMJesse, what were the prices like and how much of a selection was there? Up here in Seattle I have heard high prices and limited selection. I'm stiill kind of skeptical about how this new legalization is going to play out.

When I went in August for just a look, they only had one choice - two pre-rolled joints for $35. But, check out the GreenLady website. Seems as if things have changed and the harvest is in. Prices still seem "high," but, whatever. They still only accept cash, but have ATM's on site for the unprepared.
When I've driven past the place, it looks like they could be doing more business (Read: plenty of parking). To me, it seems that the Rush was a false alarm and consumption has not changed or gone up. All the hype about more drivers found to be "impaired" is likely due to increased lab testing, and nothing else. Legalization is a big threat to overall LE need and the corrections industry. Enforcement of other laws needs to increase so they will retain a reason to exist!

To those that are opposed to weed but somehow feel that booze is better/safer...
Typical pothead argument. Nobody I know says alcohol is 'safer', but agree it can be even more deadly.
Alcohol is more predictable and easier to personally regulate though. Weed is way stronger than it used too be and is hard to gauge on a personal level.
