do you ever mistake imagination for reality?

like your standing next to the real thing,
though you think that you're looking at it head on.

it quietly surpasses you, only commanding your periphery attention;
while you focus intently on that which isn't.

Nothing is an entity.
It shoots just like stars.
It boils like mad blood.
Nothing is borne.
Nothing dies,
and then Nothing lives.

well, i do.
i disregard those civil moments.
the ones that are assigned hyper-meaning;
the ones shoved into my mind by
the bored universe.

stupid shite like a beating heart.
or gravity.
or acceleration due to a beating heart.
or love.
life is bullshite.
so is death.
they are way too real.

forever and never?
these just mean that your valor is broke.

oh, and money!
what?
i don't understand the question.

god? she is horny
and we are leaking out of her vagina
as she anticipates intercourse with
her shadow.

now those: shadows.
they report the dark side of the self.
which is the womb of our unborne secrets.

those secrets, which become truth once
they are cooked in a spoon and intravenously injected
into the circulatory system of our culture,
who by the way is a junkie and cannot wait
for the next free based poem.

anyway, I'm cooking up.
a little bit of pseudo.

look out reality.
we've a new suitor asking our soul for marriage
and currently a golden engagement ring is
hovering mere inches above my head.

i think i'll say yes.
you all will receive an invitation to our ceremony
but you can't watch us consummate
the death of two dreams.

drop reality onto the floor;
it breaks into 6 pieces.

pick up the mess and reassemble it into a new order.
that's imagination.

reality is a friggin poser anyways
comes across as this concrete defined thing
when it is anything but.
relative, depending on the points of orientation
which can migrate like birds blown in the cold air of a storm
and what are we left with? well that depends, in relation to what?

i like relativity.
general chaos versus a pinpoint universe.

reality is candlelit intimacy
while imagination is a rush-f*#k in the shed
among volatile organic carbons and a razor sharp axe.

My friend,

Reality is but a construct of your imagination. It is but a ray of light that is bent by your lens of perception.

We choose how to perceive the world, and it allows us to feel as we wish.

True power in life is attained when we realize that reality can be bent to our will also, but unlike light, it must be moulded and shaped as time passes.

Reality is our bitch if we harness it, and our jailer if we let it play it's course.

Sometimes we must make choices we are not fond of, to reach the end goal. We must remember what that aspiration is and realize the things in life that help us achieve it.

The option is open, as is the path, just remember to travel the one that leads to your end destination, rather than the easy road to hell.

do you ever mistake imagination for reality?

 Unfortunately, I feel I do not have the time to live in my imagination too often. Though, this really is the only way I have to live anymore, because I'm certainly not going to be living by any physical means or outside the imagination now into the future.

There is the physical universe. That which we can perceive with our physical senses.

Then there is our own universe. The universe in our minds; conscious, unconscious, imagination, thought, dreaming. This universe is our very own. It is superior to that other one.

Those are two realities.

YOU REALLY DO/DON'T NEED MORE UNREALITY IN YOUR LIVES

just like norwegian needs/doesn't use upper case letters

but it's completely up to thou/thee
Constellations are not real, but there was a Super Constellation that no longer rides the friendly skies. It was not Superman either.

And you cannot possibly believe in birds, for they are too unimaginably beautiful. God must have created THEM in his image, and US in his turd's image.

Some shepherd dude from Yoresemite or Grease Gulch told his kids in the flock about the lion he saw up there.

And they began believing they would be delivered by this shepherd guy and his dog, called Yoresemite Tige.

His dog sat there laughing all the while, licking his boner but not his chops. He KNEW what he was. He was laughing at his master, not the sheep and goats.

Sir Derek Jacobi (The Claudius in I, Claudius).[Click to View YouTube Video]No mention of 'I' in this classic inquiry into reality. Just 'we' and 'us,' the indefinite 'who,' and the impersonal infinitive (like the infinitive, hate the definitive).

A good rock climb, pushing the limits of our skills, forces us to LOOK at the objective universe and be there with it fully. Thus escape the noise in our own subjective universe.

Spider: A good rock climb, pushing the limits of our skills, forces us to LOOK at the objective universe and be there with it fully. Thus escape the noise in our own subjective universe.

You’re stuck in a dualism, and you can’t get out.

Apparently, there is an objective and a subjective universe. There are two completely different universes? You ready to defend that turf?

What is “be there with it?” Is whatever that happens to reference something different than the objective universe—and, is it significant enough to want to achieve it? Why?

Here you are arguing that objective reality is the thing worth paying attention to, yet you seem to want to reach some state of quiet mind. From an objective point of view, isn’t that a kind of shadow that you’re jumping at? I mean what are you talking about from an objective point of view, and why do you think it’s worth talking about at all?

I'm with Lynne.

we as intelligent beings
fail to be.
instead, we hyper-focus on those recurring observations.
and we sell these to our heart as reality.

glimpses of our true existence occur
briefly, in-between the cyclical emotional paradigms.

these fleeting blessings are not dreams;
but instead they constitute our substance.

'a' gets fed up with it's position among english symbols.
so occasionally it dons syntax wings and floats
upon lyrical dreams to a new alphabetical order:
as a matter of fictional fact,
i just saw it between 's' and 't'
so i sat. and pondered.

then 1 shunned it's singularity and f*#ked a 2
and twelve moved two the front of the march.

and january took some drugs and shed it's wool coat;
now it's basking nekid between june and julio.

so, i, as your tour guide,
suggest smashing that two-dimensional pain of reality
with a psychological hammer: maybe our imagination or even some fear;

but make sure that you don't damage the virgin mary's launch button.
and when tomorrow climaxes into yesterday,
and today is borne,

and we are flagelic in our struggle toward reality's egg.
