Loss, bummer.

Damn Yankees fans get to gloat more than Dodger Blews, though, thank God for that.

I don't know, apogee seems like a die hard Dodgers fan. Giants are rivals #1, he is gonna ride us like hell, and gloat at all opportunities.

I see a Giants vs. Dodgers thread coming next spring. apogee, notice I put the Giants first.

Goin' way back, back, back, back. The next game otta be a good'en.

A loud Bronx cheer for the Royals, Rodger.

Blowing a raspberry, strawberry or making a Bronx cheer
is to make a noise that may signify derision, real or feigned.

That's two strikes on Mouse...who promptly hits a fly ball to Gooden and the inning is over.

No sweep for you, G-Men.

Kansas City leads the league in attracting fat sloppy-looking fans to the ballpark. Did you see those pigs behind home plate? Jesus! You don't see that at Angel Stadium.

+1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

Etc!

Yeah, my support for the Royals is more about hoping to see the Giants lose (and the nice blue color they wear). Don't take it personally, though.

Any word on Lincecum? That guy is really fun to watch, no matter what uniform he's wearing. Seems like he's really been on a wild career arc over the past couple of years.

Injured Lincecum may exit World Series just as he arrives

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2014/10/23/tim-lincec#m-world-series-injury/17760943/

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Tim Lincecum was the San Francisco Giants' nowhere man for nearly a month, on the roster but never budging from the bullpen as his mates rallied to win eight of 10 playoff games and reach yet another World Series.

Finally, in Game 2 Wednesday night at Kauffman Stadium, Lincecum got the call, and in a cruel twist of fate, may be exiting the World Series far more quickly than he entered.

That's a damn shame. I would've really enjoyed watching him pitch during this Series.

I was hoping to see Lincecum instead of Machi last night. Machi has been getting absolutely shelled lateley. So has Strickland for that matter, but I still think the Giants have an edge. Gonna be a good series.

Too bad about Lincecum; I never like to see any players hurt. I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.

Re: Giants; I'll bet I'm the only S-T member to see a game played in the Polo Grounds in NYC? Got to see the greats Willie Mays and Stan Musial squaring off!

Sigh! My age is really showing.
