OHH MAN the thing is that today he was to have a BRUTAL proceedure
When he wakes up he will be on a morphine pump
any one ever had the illiac bump removed from their hip

any one ever had the illiac bump removed from their hip Yes, I have - for 5 fused vertebrae.
The iliac crest is not so bad.
I'd say the bigger problem is that a bone graft in the ankle area might fail because the blood circulation can be difficult there.

think women and men I said a morphine pump he needs to hear that wimps like me made it
through and climb and dance no jokes about the peg please this is for him we all want him better and it will be along road
If you have great tact and can advocate for him his doctors need to hear that he deserves the best and that they are the best
lavish praise to feed the god complex that doctors are notorious for having
this is hart felt and for those that have weathered the storm how's that going for you two years seven years and like me many positive positive positive only
until we hear the pirate himself smile and joke

It went super well today, docs said way better than expected. They even shaved some of my ankle bone so it will get more mobility back.
I dyed my hair purple and painted my toe nails pink. Got a good laugh from the Otho surgeon who is always so serious. Just had to put fun energy into the hospital to lighten the mood, haha. Life is too short to not have some fun with it.
Hopefully get discharged tomorrow.
