The only thing I find unfortunate is that there are some really intelligent knowledgeable people on this forum and occasionally a really cool conversion gets going where I learn something interesting. Then in about 10 posts it goes to crap.
It's a catch 22.. without the free for all nature of this forum I wouldn't get to talk with folks like Ed H, Base 104, Guido and some others who have expertise in fascinating areas. But trying to have a good conversation tends to get derailed quickly unfortunately.
As it goes this forum is tamer than many I have seen. Todays little episode was barely chuckle or noteworthy. Nor unique. Just unusual for ST is all.
Is todays (possesive) a word? I don't think an apostrophe would be proper..hmm

I would suggest:
1. Posts from new sources be delayed till they have been reviewed.
2. All sources be limited to say ten posts/day. The site could say. "This will be your sixth post for today." Posters themselves will then have a chance to judge the content of their posts.
