I wondered when and if some Wither wethers would wander into the picture, if they are wethers, but they probably aren't, are they, Avery?
It looks a good spot for wool-gathering in the sun.
And it sure is nice to see GREEN GRASS ON THE HILLSIDES!
So, thanks for the walking tour.
When I go out walking in the withered hills north of Merced I know whither and why I'm bound for there: To seek some solitude, away from noisy cars, and where any roads are reddish-brown tracks and all the rocks are cobbled scars and at night I can see the stars.
Is there a chance some hill out there near Blenheim is called "Church Hill?"

I love NZ. I stayed a night in Blenheim while passing through in '06. Had dinner at one of the vineyards (Marlborough I believe). Ahh lush green hills...and sheep!

say, Avery, my mom and i watched sheep, from a place in san jose, of all places! it was nestled within some homes, near the almaden area... we loved it... i think they are gone now, :(
say, can i use some of these for painting 'examples' etc... ??
i never sell them, just give for fundraisers, etc... or, if one should sell, the money goes to fundraisers... email, or let me know, here...

Common scene around the Blenheim area in the Fall, ie, April-May ish.
It truly is a fabulous and beautiful area with diverse topography, few people and some wonderful and interesting small towns.

I found this under my brew the other night, while coasting along the bar at the pub.
My partner-in-climb, the Rev, used to say, "Backpacking gets you in shape for backpacking, not for climbing." I don't know where he got that idea.
We never heard of cross-training, either, back then. Adidas was a curse word, and anyone who ran was just in a hurry.
