happy appreciation thread to john roe...
good solid friend... there for the large and even the small...
appreciated some bits of help from him, and just seeing his
good attitude, MAKE one want to keep smiling at life...

and a happy god bless to you...
no matter the trails, we make our ways to the enjoy the meadows, along the way, as we climb ever onward, :)

YEP, those are from last time...
i JUST put the OLD links up so that nita would know who john roe was...
:)
for right now, though... just wanted him to get some good
climber buddy appreciations...
sometimes, it can come at just the right moments in life...
EDIT:
and after reading the accident one from last year, we sure
can appreciate his 'onward to recovery back then' as inspiration
for all climbers,
and--he sure knows his math, which i can appreciate, since i do NOT...
oh my...

hey there... just learned about this thread, thanks Neebee.
I just joined the "climbers with cancer club", I am at Johns Hopkins for radiation (twice daily) and chemo (once a week). Two and a half more weeks of this and then a lot of careful follow-up - I think.
I haven't made it out west for climbing since 2012 which is the reason for my relative silence on this forum. I'd hoped to be back in the Valley this summer but things worked out otherwise.
Still, I've managed a little easy bouldering at Earthtreks (north Baltimore) in between one session in the radiation machine and the next.

Been there, done that. You can do this...! You did an awesome recovery from your Prow fall...now on to this recovery.
Three weeks after my last chemo...first time back on the rock at JT. This was April 2011.. Been clean since!
Looking forward to your "after" picture out on the rock. Good luck with your treatment...you are at one of the best!

Hello Hello Hello....John Roe! That is so wonderful.
A bell! How cool is that??? If I ever have to go into treatment again I'm going to ask that they install something like that....I loved it
