i'm looking for photos of climbers on the Compressor Route -- either going up or down -- in heinous conditions. of course the camera usually gets put away when the storms roll in, but occasionally there's that gem of a shot, ropes blowing horizontally, rime encrusting the eyebrows, all that. thought this might be a good place to ask.

please send me a note or post-up if you might have anything. thanks!

Have photos Kelly. BIG storm, rime, scared expressions....the whole enchilada.

edit: Encrusted eyebrows from hell.

it is almost impossible your claim. Cerro Torre´s area is not a place where storms go. Winds is secure most of the time. But not storms.
