Hey Supertaco!

We have just posted our digital copy of the 7th edition of California Climber Magazine online. http://californiaclimbermagazine.com/

Direct download link: http://californiaclimbermagazine.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/cc7-winter13_master_lowres_web.pdf

I've limited the quality on this PDF considerably and its around 5mb. Should be an easy download.

We are well underway on issue 8 and it's shaping up to be one of our best with the biggest variety we've had yet.

Hope y'all enjoy the most recent issue and happy sending!

Pretty terrific. Especially the visual arts. And having it "local" or Californian makes it instantly relevant for many of us here. Eppie and Thornburg's hands are really evident. Thanks. Good luck too.

@Munge - All I can say is crimpy clip ups, ICE! and Epperson.

Mayyyybe I can throw together a visual tease this afternoon... :)

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and enthusiasm. After many hours in front of screens, we really appreciate it.

Especially from you Peter Haan. Big smile over here right now.

It's been a good run from the beginning. Always some stellar shots and cool things - areas/routes/problems I've never seen. Kicked down for a sub and all the back issues when they were on No 3 or something.

Which reminds me, I think my sub is almost up (yeah, you can get em free, but I'd rather support the effort with my meager sub cost and get them mailed to my doorstep.)

Props to Dean and Alton, obviously a labor of love.

In the winter 2014 issue, on Page 31, they profile an area in central California near Santa Maria. The place is littered with hanging chain draws. If the editors of the magazine think that is cool then the magazine is definitely not for me.

I am gonna agree with you, that sh*t hanging there takes away from the beauty of that cave-overhang. It wilderness, not a gym.

Jeremy - those are grooves from years of top roping with the anchor not being extended over the edge of those climbs up at Diablo.

Another great edition guys. Awesome article from Travis Lombardo!
