hey there say, all...

won't be here for a bit... down time, keeping my mind on my daddy... you are not forgotten...

won't say much more,as to my dear dad, as, don't want to overstep, as mark (chappy) belongs
here too, not just me... and might rather share, later or not... too...

but, me, being that, yep: sensitive gal little girl type,
i just needed to let folks know where i will be...
not being rude to just 'drop out or anything'...

but: i just can't seem to encourage folks, or share much, while i am thinking on my daddy, and mom and all our family... full time...

side note:
i had a few thank you's and paint-gifts for a few folks:

my mom always taught me about gardens: you can give flowers from them, to others, and they bring joy...

my paints, which were a huge HUGE gift through johntp, and a few others that chipped in along the way, are my way to share-and-give life back to you all, from my 'PAINT GARDEN'... and dream-catcher garden, as well...

god watched over my climber-brother all these years, and i just need to send that gratitude back, from all that is in my heart, for that:
so i give what i can here:

and of pray for you all, and for the climbers that i even don't know, out in that huge greatoutdoors...
it is my huge 'thank you' to god, going out into the climber world, and to otherss, as well...

so, i will back in a bit...
please, for those that pray... and send out well wishes and all that,
please PRAY FOR MY DADDY...

ESPECIALLY, this next 5-7 days...
thank you so very much... with all my heart...

you don't need to post much here, but please, hope someone will bump it for the weekend crowd...

sister-love to you all and god bless...
see you when the time is right again...
sure am not forgetting you all--nor leaving you out,
am just sad for my daddy and my family... :(

I hear all you say in your post Neebee. When the ones we love experience severe illness it impacts the entire family in many ways. I think I can safely say that all of us on Super Topo will respect your absence here while you spend your precious time with your Dad and family.

Our prayers and best positive thoughts will be with you all.

Much Love, Lynne

hey there say, lynne... thank you...

just a bump for those that pray and send out well wishes...

this is a crucial few days... :(

(weaning off ventilator) ... hoping pneumonia is gone??
*won't mention all the other worries...

but this is the basic trouble here...
please pray...

everyone is taking such good care of my mom, too...
well, will be back again, later...
just getting some prayers here...

will go get a few at the facebook, too...
thank you again...

god bless... am waiting for more phone calls...
kind of scary, as many of you know that had folks in the hospital
for illness...

hey there say, donini and snakefoot,
thank you both, for stepping in...

it is very odd right now for us all...

wanting to do something, when all we can do is wait...

keeping myself busy doing what me daddy always liked me doing,
helps, while i wait...

well, i better go... i've been spending the time
by laying down praying and playing the piano...

i can always hear him now, when i do this:

"...sounds good... keep it up..."
(man of few words, few actions, but man of busy-brain and kind heart) :)

god bless...

hey there say, all...

just got an update... they have been tricky to get, as, things keep changing...

thank you for all the prayers and good vibe wishes and feelings...

here is my update that i am sharing, will put it in quotes:

Dear folks… am letting those that love and are concerned about our family know how things are going for my daddy: had all started from the infection when the pacemaker was put in…
In hospital, his lungs started getting affected… was put on respiration/oxygen, but then, had to go on the ventilator…

1—was weaned off ventilator, and a little alert for one day, and got to know he was supported by our love… but could not keep breathing well, and had to go back on it…
2—was due to sepsis infection (very serious) and how it was affecting body, and fluid thus getting
in the lungs (and his lungs were weak anyways)…
3—is now on dialysis to get this out of the kidneys, as well as on the ventilator…
4—will be a rough week, and we can only pray and wait, and hope for infection to clear out, so
he can get back to trying to get well…

YOUR PRAYERS and well wishes are so greatly wanted… thank you so much for
letting me get this burden out and my worries, by my sharing with our friends…

daddy will be 84 on jan 16 th… i pray he will be at least past this rough spot, by then…
but it is in god’s hands and the docs… we all know that… and are trying to be strong…

give THOSE that you love a hug today… and tell them you love them sooooo much… amen…
god bless…

well, will come back and take a taco-read, later... i have found that i need more things to keep me busy, the longer this hard rough part goes on for my daddy... it is kind of like what:

a cabin fever thing? just waiting... and waiting hopefully for a 'spring of life' though, instead of the spring-season...

cabin fever, you pretty much know what you are dealing with however, but
this type of 'cabin fever' the 'seasonal change' is trick:

changes can be fast, or slow, but either way--they can be dangerous and scary, or: they can be good, strong, healthy and successful...

time will tell, in this 'rough winter' of ours...

thank you all for being great climber-taco buddies...
and love and prayers to YOUR loved ones, as well...

give them hugs and tell them you love them...
another 'amen' ...
night for now...

will come back and 'walk the taco streets' perhaps in the 'wee hours'...
thanks again for your friendships...

and to bill mc kirgan:
thank you for the prayers... thank you so very much, my daddy has been a really good guy--not out-and-about with us, but a solid corner stone, and to see his 'corner' had caved-in around him, from this serious situation, is so heartbreaking, :(

we all wish we could help him, but what can we do? we can pray...

Keep the faith. My mom in law came out of a 4 month coma due to sepsis.

She did way better than any of the drs. thought she would due to her cancer. She was 77 at the time. Prayer was the difference.

hey there say, all...

my daddy just got the tube out of his esophagus, and now had a tracheotomy hole--he had been 'kind of out of it' for about three weeks now, since christmas... (wow, almost a month in the hospital, :O whewww, and all he wanted was to go home) :(

hopefully, he may be able to talk, finally, later in the week??
he STILL have pneumonia, my mom said... so we have to wait on how his
lungs will be...

don't know what is going to happen, but at least he will be more comfortable
than he was...

thank you for any continued prayers...
night all and god bless...

am starting to feel more 'anchored' in all this, hope to be here more often, again, soon... :)

hey there say...

well, talked to my mom, but she was just leaving the house to visit my other brother walter, and his child...,

so THEN my youngest brother howard, filled me in...
he has a way of being very direct when he is hungry and tired, so didn't get much conversation, but here what he said, near a possible:

"he's looking better than before..."

(mom chips in, as she is leaving)--"well, he's been sedated, and of course, he is more awake now, so that's why... "

"well, he's recovering, it takes time..."

then back to me, he says:
"to put it this way, dad's just survived,
surgery...
blood poisoning (that was his way of saying sepsis)
pneumonia...
flu...
he's an 83 year old man (he forgot daddy just turned 84) ;)
and is still here...
and we didn't know he would...

so i'm happy just to see him everyday..."

well, that's my younger brother, all right, ;)

well, also, just before she left with walter, my mom did say,
he the hospital folks had him to sit up, though he did not seem too
happy or comfortable about it, she added...

and usually, it seems he is not so good before the daily dialysis, but later, when she comes to see him, he looks more alert...

he still can't talk yet, but tries, so it upsetting to him...
too weak to write anything, too...

so, keep praying, folks, he's come so far now...

thank you... wow, god's grace, and chapman tenacity... and hospital
folks doing their best...
;)

now i can send him another few cards, :)

hey there say...

just heard from mom's son in law:

mom had it wrong-understanding-of-words--daddy is NOT off the ventilator yet... getting
closer, but not yet... does have the trech, though...
but is still not yet able to do all the breathing alone...

also, the dialysis has been helping me, since the sepsis had messed
up the kidneys at that time... hope they are okay now, soon?????

but, i just heard that as tired and weak as he is all day, by the evening,
he can and has smiled, :) (not sure how much, but i nearly cried about that, well, i did) :)

keep hopes and prayers, as, if nothing else goes wrong, and the breathing gets stronger for on his own--perhaps 2-3 weeks, he may get to go home????

all we can do is wait and pray and keeping hopes and good wishes...

thank you again, for letting me share and chipping in with
prayers, hopes and all...
thank you... i think we are all feeling a large step better now...
:) but not letting our guard down, as to being strong...
