I will definitely be there in support of Jeff and Connie!
I had the good fortune of landing three mint condition Hummingbird tools in the plastic a few years ago.
At the end of filming in 2012 I had one of the three and one of my own engraved by hand to help in the fund raising effort for Metanoia.
I have also been assembling an array of museum quality Lowe gear including the axe shown above to be displayed prominently in the planned Jeff Lowe Outdoor Sports Academy. I am happy to provide further details on request.
The next Metanoia Level Sponsor will receive not only the engraved Hummingbird but also a place of honour in connection with this display and the Lowe legacy in perpetuity.
I have two other blank Hummingbird Axes that will go to major sponsors but #1 really needs to remain on permanent display once the Academy opens its doors. I am keeping #4 which is in less than pristine shape.
I also have a big wall banner (48" wide) in the works of this classic Tom Frost shot of Jeff on Ama Dablam in 1979.

I live for these kind of events.
I'm really happy for Jeff too. And Timmy you can't go wrong with him as MCEE.
Wish it were closer but I am going to be in CO in Feb and can't swing 2 trips like that back to back.
So I hoping that there'll be a west coast showing.

Hey nature, what do you think of bringing the Castleton photo as a demo sample to auction off print #9 of 10 to benefit Jeff?
I don't see it as misdirected if I match the amount and give it to Karen Kor.
If Connie is game I can ship her the print so that Jeff can sign a thank you note on the back.
Otherwise I can just send it to the winner.

Yes - an awesome evening. We got our tickets just yesterday after returning to town. So much fun, so many friends...and they were serious about having a ton of schwag. :) I scored a goodie and additional $$$ was donated. I hope everyone here considers participating in the online auction or simply donating directly. It's money well spent!
p.s. Nature - you are fast at getting the photos uploaded! BrassNuts got a ton of photos. Hopefully some get posted soon.

Ron - it was too late to get the photo into the auction. We felt it would be better if it was available for the live auction rather than the silent one. So, there will be an online auction at some point once they figure out what's left so you can include it in that.
I came out $412 lighter in the bank account.
But I did end up with Jeff Lowe's Ball's so there's that :)
I also outbid Jim Donini on a bag of Petzl glue in bolts. I made sure to nab that price sheet. It was a cheap way of getting Jim's autograph.
The JimDonininCrackFestBreakfastBash should be good too....

Awesome photos all... So glad to have the memories forever! Thank you so much! We can't wait to see more... gluttons we are for such handsome lads and lovely ladies. Woohoo - what a night! I am only sorry that we arrived a bit late and then I had to prepare for the program and try to solve payment issues. I only got glimpses of most of you... my loss for sure!
Jeff is recouping - he's had a rough couple so these photos are just the ticket!! He was awed by all the love, not only for him but everywhere with everyone... me too :)
