Just a lurker here, a scrambler & hiker who happened to be leaving Joshua Tree just as y'all poured in. I saw a jeep coming off a dirt track late Thursday & just knew it was someone there for the memorial. "Blitzo people," I told my partner, "good people." And so you are.
Rob was doing all the driving back to Santa Cruz, so I was able to lift a glass in unison with many of you to honor your friend.
May you all prosper; and when the time comes, may you all be remembered with such warmth.
And yes, may the libations continue to pour.
alias is a typo for inconsolable which is an alias for cloudripper, already taken (whoever you are, how dare ye!)

that was one great memorial. so glad i could make it. it seemed like blitzo had touched everybody there in some funny personal way. still holding his ashes for a tuolumne pour.
great catching up with friends, and making more friends, especially you locker, i have not laughed that hard in a long time. i will always remember your line to that lady. "well, i would give you a ride home, expect that i am drunk, and i don't even have a car." fuking all time hysterical.

Yeah, a regular sh#t show complete with inept and pricey attorneys, federal prosecutors who were "allegedly" bedding the accuser, outright perjurers and a whole throng of uncorrupted legal system people who kept asking just why the Bloot was even in the system at all. He did his time, but was, and got, totally f*#ked over by the rigged system that is Yosemite justice.
Someday I'll tell ya all about it.

guyman introduced us to blitzo this afternoon at stoney point.
I never new who he was howeve one day while surfing w/banny he had mentioned good thing's about an ole' room mate.

So far Blitzo has been to Joshua Tree, Malibu Creek State Park, Saddle Peak and The Tunnel Crags. We're going to Stoney tomorrow AM.
I have a separate chalk-bag for Yosemite, per his request.

Blitzo's Memorial Entry was all set up today for the Art Faire. His memorial poster will also be for sale. If anyone is interested in the poster, you can find it HERE.
It will be pretty cool to see his photograph on display. They also did a really nice article on Blitzo in the faire program. The JT National Park is doing a feature on him on their facebook page from what I understand as well, but I don't have the link for that yet.
