hey there say, all...

i do these for free... or usually also, free after someone pays for canvas or postage, as many times i do not have that... BUT, this time:

I AM SEEKING A BUYER, here, for so i can earn $200-300, to
send to someone for to buy new tools that were lost in the rimfire,
or, to help 'said person' with whatever needs are associated with that...

so this will be a HAPPY thing for you, and not put you out:
IF you would REALLY LOVE TO HAVE a portrait, climbing or otherwise of
a neat remembered time, or for a family or friend, for a CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY/BIRTHDAY GIFT...

pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee email me... :)

NOTE:

i have had 'pay now' and given honest painting, later,
BUT--THESE FOLKS KNOW ME, AND/OR KNOW FOLKS THAT KNOW ME:
(AND--the one is need, could really use the help now)...

*can't share online who this is, as person may be shy about it, but
some of you may guess, however, if you email, i can share then...

AND:__
i would need to have the option though__, to get it done by at least
december, so as to not rush it, and do you justice...
and it is oil... also, i got some ol' irons in other fires...

SO, if you can, and are thinking this would be a fun gift:
NEED A GOOD CLEAR PHOTO, ETC...

IF YOU need a reference, email sonya, or mouse, and check out the
ART WITH IMAGES THREAD...

THANK you so very much for thinking on this...

hey there say, 10b4me... thank you...

and say, to ron... i use oil paints...

but, i have done some in acrylic, as i keep busy in between the oil
layers...

the ones shown here are oil, but, the one of paul and his ruth, IS acrylic...

EDIT:
my friend in japan, her portrait is done in
acrylic...

some are done as egg-tempera mix, with some oil, as well...
i tried to find of those, but it was taking too long on dial up...
i did mouse's little granddaughter in that egg-tempera...

here is mouse's grandbabe:

i did russ and sooze, as acrylic... *did not get them up here, but it is on the art thread...

i think the rest of these are oil, let me post and i will recheck what i put up here...

hey there say, le_bruce...

thank you... i had not painted in nearly 20, well, perhaps even 30 years...

recent open doors in the taco, here, and a gift, allowed me to start again:

have been really trying to get the portraits tackeled, and keep striving
to 'conquer' this climb... :)

landscapes were my best, then, and birds, and 'artistic designs',
but it is a lot more meaningful to do portraits, as they are an ongoing
gift that can always bring a smile, for young or old, and for all occasions...

landscapes, as we all know, are so easy to find in all the stores, and art-design, too--for home decorating...

so--i AM SURE trying, :))
i have had the worse 'boo boo's as to tiny faces and shading them, and:
noses that are 3/4 view, :))

well, got to get off and get back to chores, this eats up a lot of time,
just to tackle the emails, facebook, and the wonderful ol' taco, here...

:)

The neebster's paintings are even better live. She is an artist.

Thanks to Ron for his offer to provide some paint.

There's a stunner. Guadalupe...

I saw the resemblance to yourself, neebee, immediately and wondered if you'd done a self-portrait.

Gorgeous and gifted is how you are, inside and outside.

Now go do your chores, mija!

hey there say, johntp...

yes, so good of ron! but wow, i have such a lovely
asortment of oils now!!! and they are doing well...

and even, the new acrylics, are wonderful, after those 'little set'
from starter-stuff of walmart, :))

my birthday taco gift, set me up for the whole year and more!!

but i will be curious to see if ron has a few colors, i can
always use a few extra in certain areas, with the acrylic,
since it dries up faster, when using it...

thank you johntp for all your past paint donation!!!

and mouse, i am ever grateful for the wonderful family i got to paint for you... which is here on the computer somewhere and would have been uploaded with the sweet-little grandbabe's pic, of yours, but i
'fizzled' out, computerwise, though the paints, never do, colorwise :))

and MOUSE gets the 'prize' (not sure what that is) but it yep,
THAT is my very firstever try for a self-portrait...

it is for a black, white, and special-tube-gray contest...
not sure how it will do, but say--
it SURE got me to start a self-portrait, :))

*my daughter said i need more hair on top, heehee, i told her i have
to paint the forehead, first, :)
but our family does have bigger foreheads than she does, :)

was going to do that, someday, in color, and in the woods, or something,
but there it is... but say, not only did we grow up with the nature of woods, but:
we were 'beach bum's, too, thanks to santa cruz, calf, though
and not the 'south seas' :)

thank you mouse, will cherish doing your family portrait...
well, got to go now... chores, chores, and mores... :)

this was for a friend's private use:
she wanted HER family, as the people in this painting,
and NOT who the painter, had it it:

so we 'made it up' following his format:

(i forgot to photograph it, but she sent this, it's a little
crooked, as you can see)
