so many favorites but i chose this one.topped out on snake dike ,got this shot,got hit by big hail storm, rescued cold shivering girl cluthing cables half up.

So many THOUSANDS taken over the years, you'd think my favorite would be one of the many shots of inspiring vistas, towering crags, etc...

However, the pic below has special memories....a hard rain was falling, and the smell in the air was absolutely astounding, which for me, makes seeing the picture even that much more special. If only that scent could be attached to the photo somehow.

I shot this image while leaving the Valley after the Memorial for Frank Sacherer, in October of 2010.
