It is an awesome story. Take your time, make the chapters last.Glad youve sidestepped any serious problems. This has been a big dream of mine, so thanks for showing me some of the way.Now i just gotta ditch the job..oh yeah! I saw a video on the net of how one might just do that.

75 kms without shade, 114 degrees, I sucked down 5 liters of water before reaching the next ice cream shop. Scarry hot.


Finally Patagonia and the Carretera Austral. 1000 km of gravel.... now its all green, cool, and rainy.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a touring bike myself, and it has been fun to vicariously take the road with you Rocker- err, Peddlemike!

Did you change your saddle? I see what appears to be a change in one of the above photos...
