Hello,
I'm planning to stay in Yosemite for 10 days from the end of this month, but no luck to make a reservation for a campsite. I have a van so preferably I'd like to sleep in there. Do you have any recommendations of camping options for inside and outside of the Park?
Thanks for your help!!

We're in a similar boat (actually we're in a Ford E150, but never mind that). If we find somewhere within the park we'd be happy to share/split it.
We're looking atm so we'll get in touch if we find anything.

In a pinch.
10 minute drive to 140 entrance.
Hot showers included (unlike the park campgrounds)

Thanks for the information. I guess if nothing is available, I could ask people at campsites if they are willing to share the site with us. I heard maybe the location called El Portal pullout can be an option if you have a car to sleep in.
Also a reservation personnel told me on the phone that keep checking the online reservation for openings--this is the best bet to find a spot for more than one night stay during the peak season.
Thanks!

People are usually pretty chill when you ask. What's the worst that can happen? They say no? Usually if you offer to pay for their night stay and say you have beer most people are welcoming. Just don't bring a huge group and expect to share
