My loving wife of 33 yrs. is dealing with the effects of "The Change" again.
She started menopause about 6 yrs. ago and went to the family Dr. who prescribed a couple of drugs, Wellbutrin and something else. She stayed on them for about a year or two then stopped taking them and did not have any more symptoms over a 4 yr. period. Then a few months ago the symptoms
(hot flashes, moodiness, depression, lack of energy) returned.
She has decided to call the Dr. to set up an appointment and we think he will just prescribe more drugs. We both do not like to rely on scrip drugs
unless absolutely neccesary.
So any ladies out there that have gone thru this,
What worked or didn't for you?
Does menopause reappear after 4+ yrs.?
Any alternatives to RX drugs?
Any advice welcome,
and yes we both know we're gonna die eventually.
Peace and love,
Tad and Maureen
