i was shown, and bouldered at the section that was that year's ('81?) venue
for the pocatello pump after the dust had a chance to settle. similar eh?

i expect the spokane crowd are rolling their eyes, miles of it out that way.
why pack a whole rope when remnants of a fragged one will do? :^)

stand by for some up close and personal shots ...
once i get a sewer cam rigged up, we'll find out
whose packin' sticks and poopin' up the place

Coo, hoobs post 'em up!

I climbed there a fair bit in the mid-90's sans guide(the shop ginned up a couple topos and a lot of the bolted climbs had rating and sometimes name etched into a soup can that was on the first bolt), just directions through the spuds to the rims. Shoot, when we lacked a speed limit I could get there in just under 4 hrs from MSLA. A lot of fun little zones with quite the canvas of diversity. Cracks, pockets, edges, eyebrow pockets, vert and over vert. Fun little zone. I never took the boat across the river, always accessed via the spuds houses. Funnest short place and shortest fun place I have ever climbed.
