They tell me DMT Bongs are the best.

Gobi: That's the first pitch of the Green A (Little Cottonwood), right? While I was rapping down it in 1988, I had to wait for Didier Raboutou to finish soloing that same pitch (onsight). He gave a big victory whoop when he finished, probably due to the fact that it was a bit nerve-racking soloing up those slippery footholds. He lowered a top rope down to Isabelle Patissier, waiting at the base, as he wanted to to give Meat Puppet (a 5.12 on the rock above) a try. She tried following in tennis shoes but kept slipping off the start (the slipperiest part). So she climbed it with bare feet. By coincidence, in 1988 I happened to be climbing with Joe Cupps, who was also climbing with me in the Sierras of Córdoba last January. And that's what my picture is about:

Cerro de la Cruz in the Sierras of Córdoba. Diedro Grande is plainly visible on the face:

Looking up the Laja de Peterk/Trombosis (with Diedro Grande to the right) after Joe and I finished the route last January:
