that looks like a perfect beach to come apart on.
plenty of innocent stones to kick,
gray gloom in the sea-sky-and sand;
adding my tears to the atmospheric motif.
a start-over beach.
one where today is like aged yesterday,
fermented with the f*#king knowledge
gained of too many disasters endured.
drink it up get drunk on the now,
over-imbibe on the present;
operate heavy machinery
and finally,
sleep with the zen fairy.

Tami,
Anita and I did lots of wine tasting out there. She didn't fancy herself a Zin lover at all, yet at our last stop - Mastraserio in Fairplay just south of Placerville - it was his Zinfandel that she bought. We shared it last weekend....
Anita nother glassful!
Autographed by the winemaker - Ruggerio Mastroserio - himself. Anita has a photo of him playing his sax somewhere.
It's-ah nice-ah vino!

Tami: Don't let Pete's fancy pants wine talk fool you - he drinks wine coolers and white zinfandel like it's nobody's business.

^^ OUCH! ^^
Tami,
Do knott let that woman mislead you! She is diabolical indeed!
The proof is in the photo - nothing but Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Barbera, Syrah, Petite Syrah [amazingly no Cab] - oh yeah, and one faggy gay bottle of bubbly stuff made from some strange blend of Syrah and something else, which happened to be the best tasting wine at the winery, and which we know will be awesome on the poolside next summer as we bake in the sweltering Montreal heat.
And there is thertainly none of that thilly White Thinfandel. Thorry, I feel like I should lithp.
