Classic Stuff many missed.

Brings up the question- do we moderate ourselves?

What is with spineless people who delete and edit and delete and re-post and other poster putting pressure on OP threads.

Cracks me up.

Many people get stuck in thinking that Supertopo is actually only what they think it is. It is its own beast and can go anywhere and do anything at anytime. lets all remember that we have a right to freedom of speech.

And how about the EGO babies who get their underwear in a bunch and proclaim they are to great and leaving, only to come back with their tales between their legs , like nothing ever happened. You know who you are!!!

Here is a new one for you Jason , maybe it will get $10 in my Paypal.

"You look pretty silly with those balls on your Chinchen."

So last night Chinchen posted a thread that he was tired of having to read Neebee's intro ," hey say there" or whatever , the christians would have none of it and then it brought back up the "work debacle " , and the christians would have none of it, pressure, delete HAHAHAhahahahah!!!

Still no job. Still angry at a jackass heartless bastard who moved my family 1000 miles to sh#t on us and leave us without options. For what reason? Not because I did a bad job. Because of money, to save a buck and because the lady in charge doesn't want to train. And he didn't even come to look me in the eye when they let me go without explanation or cause.

Joe Rousek aka J Rousek Toy Company is a spoiled childish as#@&%e with a trust fund in the form of a company that he put no work into and gets all the rewards of being aloof and disconnected from the reality of how he treats people. NO benefits? Nothing for the work people put in but a culture of fear that they will be let go and then what? Cant find jobs in small towns. He lets a psycho man hater run his company and make poor decisions because he is would just make worse ones.

And then he dumps loads of toxic waste and plastic into the landfill every week in the form of bad shipments of toys. Tell me Los Angeles, do you know how much lead and cadmium Joe Rousek is putting into your drinking water? Does he pay for recycling? Hell no, way too cheap of a bastard.
But he attends church every week and preaches up a storm about how god does wonderful things in peoples lives......hypocrite.

Do I sound like a disgruntled employee? lol.

I cant look at my wife anymore and tell her everything is going to be alright."

We all know Neebee is great and that her style is appreciated.

She has a unique personality and writing style.

Nobody is criticizing Neebee, Jason just posted he waa tired of this phrase.

Jason is all that and more that Jefe mentioned on the Eastside wx condition thread.

I like Jason , he speaks his mind and is creative, maybe I dont agree with some of his antics but it is who he is and I can accept that.

What hair I have left...

A report for the uninformed....

I live in Bishop. I was hired here at a local toy importation and pencil company in 2010. I left a successful Yacht care company that I had started in Anacortes, Wa. with my wife to move here. The environment was better for my children and we were used to the high desert.
At my 3 month review I was let go with no cause.
The owner of the company had taken me climbing and tried to talk religion with me. I am a reformed pastors kid,it didn't fly with me but we had a long, reasonable discussion in which I had told him my biggest problem with todays modern american religion is the way children are manipulated into believing this stuff at a very young age. Turns out he and his 14 yr old son speak tounges at church.....This is what I believe precipitated the termination of my $23/hr job. "Eastside legend" or not, that guy has very poor business acumen.
So frustrated with that? yea, a bit. But I am an eternal optimist, so....I went climbing.

Been here almost three years now, Started several small businesses. Vertigo Chalk Bags, Headspace Graphic Design, and helped my wife get Kara's Earth Natural Tea and Salve going. Do I make a living at all that? Not quite. I just finished laying out a hiking guide for the Eastern Sierra that will be coming out in a few months that I am very proud of and no doubt many of you will end up owning. Kara is running the Black Sheep Coffee house and is growing that with the owner Peter. They just moved the shop to main st. and are running 3X the business as they were before the move.
I started an open mic in Bishop to help bring the community together, and that has been a hit. I care for the local climbing areas as well as any can. Constantly picking up tape, trash, glass, sh#t.....the list goes on.
"Work" on the Eastside is hard to come by, so you make it however you can. Actually right now I am in talks to take over a local printing business with the capability to print and publish books and anything else that can be printed. It is a solid business with a large client base already. I hope it works out to be the thing that solidifies my existence here. But if not, I will go on living and loving my family and friends.

Now about my post last night. It was not a bash on Neebee, who as someone else pointed out is a solid person with a great attitude. Just a silly diversion from the blah blah blah that is always clogging up this joint. The intention was to make it a "Sayings I hate" thread but that backfired....
I got a few emails explaining some circumstances I did not know and I deleted the thread. I would not normally do that.

Heres the thing. I'm sarcastic and can be caustic sometimes. It doesn't translate well in cybersville. BUT. I love everybody I come across the same.

If you come to Bishop and need a shower? Dinner? A ride? Help Moving? A hug? I am here.

Geez man sorry to hear all that :(

It isn't easy trying to make it work in the places we love, ESPECIALLY as a family... it is one thing for me to share some of your problems, because it's just me and my ex's cat, but you have children to think of... reminds me of my brother in law moving to New Jersey from So Cal because that's where the money was. It sucks.

Too bad about Joe, if people have poor judgement it isn't isolated to particular events and it spills over into the rest of their lives. Having only your story to go off of he sure seems like one not looking out for your interest, best not to be around that person.

And as a guy that grew up very religious, trying to re-convert me would be like talking me back into being a virgin. Ain't happenin'... but thanks ;D I love to entertain the conversation, no one can make you think anything against your will and if nothing else you can learn a lot from people who devote themselves to a faith. Is it for me or Jason? No. But patience, charity, friendship, religion gives people some tools that are hard to acquire in the 'real' world... think of it as a shotgun blast of morality? lol.

There are threads (and tomes and videos and lecture halls) devoted to THAT aspect of this story so probably isn't worth getting into, suffice to say something perhaps more unique - you can LEARN from crazy religious people sometimes. Even ones that believe in monsters and spells.

Anyways, sounds fuked up if you lose your job over some guys religion.

Jason, glad I connected last night. This tempest is just an example of not thinking things through pre-post. I'm very new at the computer and its world is such a fast one it is not a place n00bs will enjoy all the time, since we make errors, step on toes, bash without thinking, and it is all so easily avoided by being patient and thinking.

I have been privileged, as many are here on the Taco, to correspond with the dream-catchingest lady on the internet. She is nothing if not sweet and evenly-disposed and mostly unflappable, but not always. She's human and has feelings, but she just gives them to her savior and it goes into the vault after that.

It is a quilt. You're a patch. I'm a patch. neebee's a patch. They don't always fit, like she says. But patience and love can overcome any old thing almost as well as water does. It just takes time and faith. It's a blessing this brouhaha came about. We can just go with the flow of the backwash.

I will pre-order six of your hiking guides right here and now, because anyone who tries to make it go in the deep woods, in the mountains, or over on the East Side, you all are brave to try to exist there, as has always been the case. But cities are poisonous. And they have terrible fishing, too.

Email me back and I'll confirm the order. What the hell happened to your hair?

hey there say, all... was just wondering what is going on...

i will have a read here and catch up.... i was 'helping a freind' kind'of, last night--she's getting ready for some scary teeth surgery, :O

say, i DID see thisreally fast:
Nobody is criticizing Neebee, Jason just posted he waa tired of this phrase.

oh my, jason (chinchen)... i'm sorry you had trouble with my intro...

i know, and understand--it is kind of like coming home from work everyday and the 'silly ol' pup-dog' keeps yapping with it's 'same old familiar noise' one that is different from other pups, perhaps... :(
and it keeps tugging at the clothes and nipping at the heels, while you are trying to 'kick back and relax'... :(

well, if it helps, a little, just know that you are honored and respected, and we 'pupdog' type greeters are just so happy to see everyone and share
with the 'family' so to speak...

i did see a bit of a long post by you--about family troubles... ?
or work? i will go back and see what that is, i just got on, and had to turn the stove off--NOT good to cook and internet, it = burnt food, and perhaps DANGER, :o LATER... :o
(LEARNED a hard way, once, recently) *caught it in time...
:)

say, just put your finger over the intro, when you first jump on, if you see one of my post--i HAVE to do that with some of the banner ads,
(not making fun, honest, but it does help me, and a lot--some i just can't
take looking at the flashy light, etc... )...

godbless...

(say, not sure what the christian stuff is, mentioned, either, but if folks
got to be fighting some how, it would seem to 'negate' the word--hope things got settled down, as to that??)

may the campfire burnt sweet and happy tonight, and may the
moon and the stars and a good clear night, meet us all for
some good-eve tonight...

* i just got a scare, as to the heater here, and a bad over-heat smell and had to call the ex son in law, in case something dangerous was happening...

kind of a good reminder to us all,if the fire get to hot... it hurts...
we can let it settle a bit, and all will work out fine...
good fire-tenders, we shall be...

:)

*say, chichen, if can help, any, as to the kids? let me know... not sure what i can offer, but i will go read the post...
also--if you need help, not sure, but if you can find folks that want any kind of art??? done, if i can do one righ, perhaps you can sell some...?
you can keep all the profits... i AM NOT a sales person, i just do it right, never works, :))

if you sold any, it'd be due to YOUR hard work, not mine, for sure, so
you would earn it, :)

>:D<

well, all for now, got to go back and read all this...

hey there say, fishfinder....

as to this--you are doing well, from what i can see...
if we all don't talk about this, wheww, it could get worse, as to
why folks 'say what they do' or 'when they just to let off steam'
would turn worse:

I like Jason , he speaks his mind and is creative, maybe I dont agree with some of his antics but it is who he is and I can accept that.

Quit emailing me and posting that I should delete this, that is one of my points and this is an open forum.

thanks for not deleteing, or i'd not understand what was going on,
:)

ps:
for timidtoprope...

awwww, thanks for helping out--i know, sometimes, things can sting a bit, but oddly, it seems to do it more, when it is family, or old friends that suddenly lashout, etc... the new 'frieds' are usually that we are
just getting to 'know' folks better and not used to their ways,
so THAT is when it kind of stings...

we toughen up, in the good ways, when out sailing, if the cold winds hit
us while we are 'sailing right'... if we are just blantently 'sailing wrong into the 'come about's etc, we sure better 'get our own' bearing
or THATs what we will have to face, a lot more--some pretty harsh stuff...

thanks,andy, thanks so much...

thanks to all you climber folks to, for letting this 'silly ol' pupdog'
me, play here and call this my 'home'...

(my patty ann maried, is a bit silly at times, so i know it can be a bit different, facing such)...

but we just keep on, keeping on, keeping an even keel...
or in patty's sense: an even tail wag, :))

wow, now i know you better, and now i what was going on... :)

say, i grew up with five brothers... so i know who versitle guys can be, and how they can clash at times...

same with my three boys... it can happen...
(depending on the certain gals, too, you can have sister-clash too, if there are a lot of same-age-nearness, in a family)...

well, now:
let's see what we can do to spread the word about these business-type stuffs.... :)

perhaps there is a certain landscape too, that your wife's coffee place that she works at, would like to display? perhaps it could sell... one never knows... let me know, if you decide...

over and out for now...
the ol' logs seem to be fine here..

as to mouse:
yep, the god lord helps me stay even keel otherswise, i'd fear
the HIGH winds and dark clouds and 'hide out' in a little cove somewhere, but i'd not have a bad word to say, being that:
we are all humans and react differently... that is to be expected...

i think harshes feelings i've had, is to lENTION, share, or teach, to my kids, or those that i babysit, to:
not mock or belittle, lie or steal from each other, and to always
TRY to make restitution for a wrong--it is only fair, for a life-field to to 'receive' such, if we expect new life to be there in onself, and the other-hurt.-one...

sometimes it is the hard part of being a parent, or trusted friend, brother, or sister, etc...
:)

ps:
say chichen, i made a few odd moments on internet, too, when i first
tried.. i always felt bad, so i try to share back with folks, in case
something is mis-understood... we all are, so not to worry...

hugs to the wife and kids...
are they in their teens yet?
hope they are well...
i am working on grandkids, and IT can get just as 'worry'some'
