It's tough to look manly in your hospital bed, but John (with big help from Lynn) sure manages here!

As I'm sure you already know, in most cases, pain is the only issue which holds one back from a good recovery.

You may in fact, overcome this injury, and return in a few years, in better shape than before your accident.

I'm speaking from experience.

May each passing day be a little better than the one before.

May your recovery progress to the point that, in the future, you'll have occasional moments of uncertainty as to which leg it was that suffered such injury.
