I am continually astonished by what our brains can create.

I cannot help but wonder how often things happen in real life that we never knew happened, and for which we have no explanation. I'm somewhat less comfortable with some of the commercial applications that are being considered.

no, it is not a video manipulation. It is a real-life thing, like the chalk drawings. You can only see them from one position.

Maybe ken, but It looks like the zoom shot is done with a real object. Look at the Rubix cube in the background, when he does the tape shot, then both tape and cube are there when
He does the shoe. They are also at different angles than they were originally shot, which doesn't work because the image is only perceived that way from one angle.

Ken,

Really cool.

These should give those over on the consciousness, what is mind? threads something to think about. ;)

Our mind-brains are pretty awe-inspiring regarding what they do.

.....

(1) Print out the image on paper.
(2) Observe it through a camera.

.....

I cannot help but wonder how often things happen in real life that we never knew happened, and for which we have no explanation.

+1.

There are some subtle color shifts on the Rubic's cube example. May have been some cheating there.

The tape is really well done!

The other two look good, but aren't as tough as an example as a multicolored cube to deal with the lighting on.

looks like the cutouts were done on high resolution photo paper. What I want to know is how he manipulated the print to get the final outcome.
