hey there say, all...

mouse, is of course new here, by this year? or so (i think?)...

but he has added so many great old time climbing pics and lots of
history...

and the FLAMES thread is really neat and facinating...
SOMETHING for everyone...
along with a lot of hard work, i think, to do these shares...

takes time, i know...

thanks for the little random share that you add to your post, for
the interests of folks WHEN you see that they LIKE a certain
subject...

kind of like being a big brother to us all....

HE HAS just share a small gift with me, that i wanted to add a note to here:
this small gift is made from a gal that was in his local area...
always good to share how and where to find these neat things that
are part of life that sometimes get overlooked by the
HUGE businesses... *the gal is an artist...

he can JUMP in here and explain better, and perhaps
post a picture or note...
my computer is too slow to upload right now,as i got chores...

i used to love to play with words a LOT more IN THE PAST
(MUCH to the confusion of folks,at times--it's just me--but due to dial
up getting worse, you all are spareed much, these days) :))

well--he has some pretty interesting trickey 'fun for the brain'
wordings to drop here, to challenge us at times...
and:

he enjoys my books, :))
hypens and all, :)

you ARE much appreciated mouse from merced...
the ol' quilt now has some of that 'shiney rick-rack' and bits
of scraps that are added to the quilt in between the stitches to:

EMBELISH it...
you knowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww:
field mice seem to get into all kinds of stuff in their travels, and
find so many things to 'feast' on... and we see the trails of it here,
as if the crumbs to be share with us...

(good crumbs, meaning there are morsals here)...

thank you for being part of the ol' taco...
and thank you for the gift of sharing that gals art...

please share with the folks, when you get a chance:
ROCK, PAPER, SPROKETS...

I second that. TPFU Neebee!

Poet, auto-didact, gadfly, climber, historian, streamer of consciousness... I'm sure I'm missing a few. A welcome addition here as well as at Facelift.

Won't let you get away with BS. Well, he'll call you on it, then let you get away!

At the core, a very, very big heart!

moth from merced? - i love that guy

but

i am not always able to figure out what in the hell he's talking about
and some of the photos aren't even related to anything

Just a box of rain -
wind and water -
Believe it if you need it,
if you don't just pass it on
Sun and shower -
Wind and rain -
in and out the window
like a moth before a flame

hey there say, TFSTFU...

say, as to your qoute:

I disagree, don't get the mouse at all.

that's okay... don't worry... it's okay not to get the mouse...
he's okay with that--he's just an 'open it to the air' sharer...

it's open for however folks can enjoy it...

so in a way, there is a bit of something nice for you, too...

edit:
oh, say, zbrown, hope i helped some, :)

:)

thanks for sharing...

i know, when LOTS (and he can use LOTS)of words are used as
paint on a canvas, it CAN get overwhelming, at times, or
flamboyant... it is kind of like how SOME art is differnt than
other art, in museums..

but sooner or later, their just might be something for you:
there is some really neat history pics...

Mouse is a trip.

A trippin' Mouse.

A trippin' house mouse who's not a louse or a grouse.

I still haven't figured him out.

But I'm happy to keep trying!

He's a Modest Mouse... ;D

'Welcomed me to Middle Earth on the way to the Facelift, and gave me some words on a page that go with me wherever I go (and made me laugh so hard I cried).

True friends tell you precisely what they think, but have a magic in their delivery...wait, did he just CALL ME OUT???! NO HE DIDN'T?!!!! Thoughts to ponder...

He's nowhere and everywhere at the same time...and when you least expect it, he'll touch your heart...

...and he has a heart of gold. (Not a phrase I use lighty.)

A very welcomed, appreciated, literary Maus. <3

Oh it's not the moth, it's the other one - I got it now Robbie.

I first encountered the mouse from merced (despite rumours to the contrary) right here on the old ST froome.

I was so appreciative to find out that he was not stalking me that I wasn't really concerned at all that he knew so much about my net worth, drinking habits, and former and future wives.

Quite honestly, I do not recall providing him my credit card and bank account numbers and their pins, but I can fathom no other way that he could have come by this information other than from the horse's proverbial mouth.

Under his Socratic tutelage and "tuff love" guidance I feel that I have become (well, maybe will become) ...

I love Finnish poetry.

Insomnia

I can bear the grey days all right. The sky´s
lowering — that I know from old; and, yes,
the trek to those I love stretches as far as Oceania,
the starlit domes, the rainbow´s end, or youth;
but, like stripping a coat from one dying of cold,
or depriving a drowning man of a life-raft,
the insomniacs have been robbed
of the magic key to the gloomy castle
whose turrets let you see the whole globe,
though it´s dark and our planet´s swimming
in cries of pain. A long, long time ago
a cool hand fell on my brow. Someone said: `Sleep!´
There was someone.

When you're dead...

When you’re dead you’ll get to do everything you didn’t have time
to do while you were alive.
You’ll finally have time to yourself, you must promise
to become very selfish.
I see before me: ”Don’t think I intend just to sit
here and rot.”
Finally you get to tell the president and the minister of defense
what you think of them.
Not to mention your wife, who ”stole your life.”
You’ll be free as the gull you loved to watch
through the window of the sauna.
You’ll circle the globe and visit other exotic
places.
For God’s sake, marry the miller’s daughter, that was
always your secret wish.
You’ve begun your elocution lessons by correspondence, your
mouth full of stones like the great masters.
Toward fall you’ll compose a tring quartet for grass fire,
night frost, compost and sunset.
Like Wittgenstein you will learn to whistle all Schubert’s
lieder and symphonies except Alte Kameraden.

however, as timid did a reply of a version...

Some get cremated. Some are in the bosom of the ocean, too. The variety of disposal means available is quite wide. Unlike the grave.

Eerie laughs emanate from off-stage, or better yet, it's in Surround-Sound.

And Reilly, saying I'm from Modesto is like me saying you, a Seattle man, are from Olympia, for gosh sakes.

Merced is midway between Mo-town and Fresburg.

Almost due south of Oakdale and @ eighty miles from the summit of Mt. Diablo.

I'll take this opportunity to request that my own ashes be set out on the beach below Mt. Clark's southern and western flanks, at the appropriate time, of course.

My camera will for sale to help to pay for the cost of cremation.

Gotten N Gone

Bleak Decembbr's gone.

Fix eyes (and ears) upon the dawn

of Twenty Fourteen, can you be or believethat B. Cleaver?

Let alone Wally or Ward

Or June, on the sward,

Beaver mowing the lawn

With Tony Dow looking on?

The appearances here of their spirits there

Make us tear out our hair and incline me to share

Just what it was like when me, Lenna, and Mike,

When we eqch made that school-wards-y hike

From home to our school, a parochial tool,

And we waded the creek to get back home

In time to set this rhyme to poem,

Not knowin' that folks in the future might owe 'em

For the stories which we tell

And so forth and so on.

I played JV baseball,

Aced Latin, and that's all!

Today He told me to tell ya all he is moving to Germany.

When words escape you & tens of thousands of your pictures have been burned,

"It's the Reichstag Fire" "I got burned," he said to me.
Whatever he said we were both feeling dizzy.

As the conflagration of Notre Dam continued to mirror the inferno that engulfed his thread.

Sick over these losses, we were left scratching our heads
reaching for humor . . .

Pathos as the world continues to grind the little gristle left us

What to say? what to do? you laugh and commiserate.

It was after some flair up we had had, I always get under his skin, that he sent me this saying please post Did ya send him an email? his engine; his 'puter is in the shop.
bear down grab what ya want
He read me the 'doning' note that RJ sent him, It included the rude picture of the AzsHole'n Thief, that was the reason for his 1 month time out.

(A picture he describe as pointing out the obvious lying Azslroll with that word across the cartoon'd head with a dramatic overblown representation & an arrow pointing to the same)

It was a direct unsympathetic rebuke that took the time to point out that he knew better.
Thus it pissed him off.
Therefore, the return if it is not already will see the snuffing out . . .
The ARTFLAMES maybe extinguished
We are all wealthy from the experience

Mouse. Thank you for the excellent photo of me that I use for my avitar. As you know I stole it from you but you never objected and I give you credit. (also a couple others on my collection)

You are a very good artist. Glad to continue seeing you on Facebook and hopefully out in the wild.

in appreciation of the MOUSE

he was banished from the farm
he painstakingly nourished
kept it watered and plowed
til it blossomed and flourished

and he’s out there still now
at some website or backstreet
watering new shoots
all while warming his feet

I owe him a thank you
for his words of advice
for keeping it real
and keeping it nice

I’m not sure where he’s going
or too sure where I’ve been
but I’m hoping in the future
we cross paths by the end

and I thank him for his poems
for his photos and his tales
for his love of good music
and his humor as well
