anyone wanna hang a rope on something for me ? who's up for some xmas in the desert ?
I can not wait. I've been very meticulous about the training and rehab this time (third time's a charm !!), if I don't do the usual stupid things I should be good to go and I'm chomping - been sitting out on the porch on the doublewide in the snow, hotboxing under the rainfly and drinking whiskey as part of the conditioning...
anyone going to do that ouray thing too ? mal where's your post with the details dammits ?
Dude.. didn't you hear? The earth is ending in just less then two weeks. Sorry Bro.. Someone here on the taco is selling life insurance though. Not that kind of life insurance. the kind that allows you to extend your life after world ending catastrophes. Its a new kind of insurance.
Should be lots of open climbing routes after the big tahdoo.. that is if you can stand a little fire and brimstone with your climbing.
pm's flyin - jer's gonna try to kill me for xmas, riley might come out and help again ;-) doug ! dr ! where are you people ? we should just siege a tower, 3:1 z me up the hard parts...
5.4 ? right now i'm projecting the 5.2 retaining wall at work...well, 5.2+...
that's like 8 words jer...at this point i'm still balast, remember that...no way in hell i'm rigging, hauling, carrying a backpack, yada - right shoulder is still a work in progress...pussy ;-)
hmmm, i reckon i never sent you any 'getwell' stuff, long time back..sometime, i either miss the 'accidents' or do not have
stamps... but--i can sure cheer you on!
(christmas card IS in the mail though--sure hope address is the same) :O
well as to this quote:
anyone wanna hang a rope on something for me ? who's up for some xmas in the desert ?
well, being that i don't climb and can't travel, i CAN at least do this:
i will HANG a rope, tomorrow from my roof, as good-faith that you WILL get
to 'hang a rope'... and i can make it,at least to the backyard for
christmas, though not the desert, and will 'route (root) for you there'..
but say:
saw you had some whisky, ... well, i can join in,on that, now...
here i go, whisking on over to get a small one, to
salute your being well-for-the-great-outdoors! ...
happy supertopo eve to you...
(just dropped in, and now got to paint--i may justt leave this slow
computer online, anyway).. you'd not believe how long it took me to type this!!!!! :O
Pagen...take it very easy with that shoulder bro...
Give it a long time to heal and let the muscles strengthen and balance out...
Nice easy climbing...no cranking at all. All foot work..I would think for ever..
We souls plan a cool alpine objective soon
damn cosmic yer sick !! after three cuts in 5 years I wasn't about to go up in the sling...
nature i stopped formal pt a month ago - now I'm weights and stretches but not allowed to go full tilt til Jan 2...pulldowns are 60 lbs instead of 3 sets of full pullups, 3/4 pushups, etc...stuff is finally waking up, settling down, moving over to where it should be...I was sorta big a year ago so I didn't fall too far off the horse...
I will say it f*#king tickles though... ;-)
I should roll out there - come out the week before ouray, blanket the town with resumes...
So i keep hearing this song on the radio that i love and I've been trying to figure out who it is for weeks.
Turns out it's this song by Volbeat called Counting - basically the song concerns counting all the as#@&%es in the room besides himself,,lol
I love this band - maybe the first new band I have liked since the 90's
Danish band - fusion of rockabilly, punk and metal
love this tune - kind of covers all the bases except maybe some reggae steel drums
