Just got off the phone with the freind in MRKL, she has been emailing the lady out there- and has already felt the presence of the Uncle.

the lady has been to the doctors THREE times with bruises in the last 6 months and so there is documentation of this!

My Friend says this lady is an "impasse" and is keeping the Uncles spirit around for some reason, or is simply intuitive as she says and the Uncle doesnt know how to proceed. So he is lashing out and frustrations he had while here in the physical..My friend deals in "energy medicines" and is very well known in the field from what im told.

I looked into Choctaw ceremonies for releasing of the spirit and did indeed find a procedure. The lady says Native American energy can be very good, so im givin it a whirl when we all go up there. Good enough for my tribal ancestors, good enough for me.

The conversation went for nearly two hours-- ive learned much actually! Fascinating stuff...

This is really getting strange as the ladys emails to my freind in MRKL are mentioning classic symptoms of a spirit stuck in "transition"..

She doesnt drink, smoke or any of that. She has been treated THREE times now by the emergency clinic in Winnemucca. -always finding herself in the kitchen with the SMELL of alcohol about---not tasting it, yet she feels hung over and is bruised up. AND her sense of smell is gone as well as her hearing..????

edit: i DID tell the MRKL freind to ask the lady if she used drugs or anything for sure!... Those tweakers after a runner see all manner of crap. Yes, my logical mind is working too.;-)

It's nice to give her some attention, either way. Of course, maybe we can scientifically debunk the need for elderly people to get some conversation and caring ;). Good on ya, Ron.

As i say,, the gal doesnt have a "faith"nor does she believe in ghosts but she now has been to a ER clinic three times, every time the same.. My buddy saw the lumps on her head yesterday....

She is deaf and has no sense of smell -other than that fairly normal for nevada..

She says she did SMELL the alcohol though- which STARTLED here worse than anything almost, as any other time she has no smell!

And the children ALL reported to their parents of hearing an angry mans voice at night. Yet coudlnt see anything.!?

Had a number of experiences and know others that have

You'll find a common thread of Ghosts being the spirit of those who committed suicide, died violent or untimely deaths, or otherwise had some serious issues.

That's not a judgement against them, they just left their body before their time so they're stuck on this plane until it's time to move on.

Peace

Karl

Sometimes kindly but authoritatively asking them to move on will clear them out.

Angus and I really dig the Arrowhead Arete and have repeated it many times. A few years ago we headed up the switchbacks above the maintenance station. That path follows an old trail up Indian Canyon, which in the days of the Miwoks was an important trade route to the Mono Lake indians. They basically traded acorns for fly larve. We believe the old trail follows part of the old indian trail before it.

So we're headed up the switchbacks with Angus out front, as is usual. We come around an up hill bend to find a magnificant stag standing on the next switchback above us, highlighted in a shart of early morning light. It's like a Bierstadt painting, almost too magnificent to be believable. He's one of those Yosemite raindeer looking guys, saw one over at the base of the Zodiac once.

He's huge, with a powerful chest and a deadly looking, many pointed rack. Thing has a 4 foot spread on it. And he's calm, serene like, standing there in the chill dawn air. He's completely aware of us and is looking our way, but casually and without concern. As if we too belong here and his calm acceptance is nature's best acknowledgement of fitting in.

We slow to a crawl and just admire the buck. And he looks back at us in silent consideration. Slowly, ever so slowly, his gaze shifts inwardly, and his ears peel back slightly. And it's like he suddenly remembered he has something else to do or somewhere else to be. He leans back a bit, steps off the trail and slowly contours away though the trees. He ambles out of sight, occasionally stopping to nibble a shoot or admire the view. Twice he looks back over his shoulder at us.

Andgus and I are struck mute by this spectacle, amazed and delighted grins, stupid-like in their simplicity, are plasted on our faces in mechanical response. The rest of the hike up to the base of the Arrowhead, one of Yosemite's greatest approaches in my punter opinion, was like a cloud. As we racked up in that great chimney, a place of powerful spirits and conjunctions itself, Angus remarks out of the blue,

"That was an indian back there. In that deer. I know it man. It was an indian spirit and he gave us his permission to be here."

Funny I had just then been thinking along those very lines. Ang had the first lead that day and as he led out I thought I heard the distant cry of a coyote on the wind.

uhhh thats gonna be tough,, but yes,, in a couple of weeks it shall be done.

But i may not experience anything as im not an intuitive..Ive never had a ghostly experience. Had things that made me go HMMMmmmm. But thats it.

Like LIVING after falling over a hundred feet and hitting hard! Made me go hmmm..?

But this story for some reason hooked me in,, yeah maybe line a sinker to.. I dunno really. The kids AND her- makes one wonder. The only ones to spend nights there all have "issues"...the older i grew the less i knew and know this to be true...

Not to mention the friend in MRKL being "contacted" by the Uncle..

edit : Im in need of some grapevines,, enough to do 13 small hoops for my ceremony...Any one have some grapevines locally i wonder??

The hoodoos. It's a nicely descriptive term for whatcha got, Ron.

Animal spirits bother you, leave little turds here & there?

Heh-heh.

Which hurts worst, a furious ghost, a tumble off a fiscal cliff, or a tumble off a metaphysical cliff?

Apparently, it ain't clear. Or transparent.

The fiscal cliff's thirty days away, so it's a moot question.

The gal has physical evidence. SOMETHING is happening out there. In that hood,, i wonder if some jokers with chloroform arent pulling one over on her?

Crazy thought i know,, but then for central NV TINY towns,, not so much really. Perhaps a hidden TRAIL cam might be in order.?

im considering every possibility know matter how far fetched lol!

Uncle didnt die easily or quickly and i do believe he had regrets when he went and how he went. So in that line of logic, i can see an unsettled soul- i just never knew they hung around. But people have been sued over such things, if she gets injured WORSE it could get ugly for my buddy cuz he still owns the place!

Has the house been checked for gas levels, radon, carbon monoxide, etc?

A friend of mine who's Russan Orthodox told me once that after someone dies, they change around all of the furniture in the house so that the spirit "trips" on it and realizes it's time to move on. No idea if she took over the house with his things still there, but might be worth a try...

Spooky stuff.

Creepy stuff Ron, good luck with evicting the spirit.

As I was reading this post I wondered who would be the first to call in the Ghostbusters, no surprise it was Cosmic and Locker.

There's no way in hell I would stay one moment in that house even just reading this thread.

I haven't had a ghost thing in many years but have had several in the past. The worse one was at my sister's house, a rental. I was visiting and in the kitchen one morning. I heard someone in the bedroom above, walking back and forth, opening/closing the closet doors. My sister Kate, who is also in the kitchen says "Do you here that?" I say "yes - why is Danielle(her sister-in-law) acting like that?"

She says "Danielle isn't here; that's the ghost." I got the CREEPY feeling and had to physically run outside the house to get away from it. I never wanted to be alone there afterward.

The other bad one, funny this thread comes up, I was just thinking about yetserday. I was living for a short time in Marquette, Michigan, and out with a group of my youngest sister and brother's friends. We went to a house which was purported to be haunted.

We got there, and the house was derilect - doors gone, windows gone. Water damage from years of exposure to the elements and the traces of having been on fire.

There was a whole bunch of toys scattered out in front of the place, and very starngely, a piano that looked in perfect condition inside, even though the rest of the house was in such bad shape. Some wanted to go inside, but I was like "I don't know..."

Then someone said "Wait - do you hear that sound?" It was a low, droning and constant hum. I said "Well, that's the traffic from the highway." They said "The highway is at least 10 miles away. And look at all these toys. They're old toys, but they look brand new!"

I looked and HOLY SH#T - they were spotless, even though having been outside a house which hadn't had people in it for a decade. The him sound, the piano inside, and the sight of those toys from the past but in perfect shape - I bout fainted right there. I MADE us leave. Everyone started laughing but - ughh, I get scared just thinking about it. YUCK.

I have also seen plenty of People who were white and filmy - mostly back at the family house I grew up in.

I do not like ghosts, do not like that feeling that seems to be in back of me, and am glad that for whatever reason it is, I don't have those experiences in the last several years.

So if a book fell to the floor in the middle of the night, from a stack that could not hold the center, would you go OOOOWEEEOOOOWAAAOOOO ?

Stark raving bullshit would be the clinical answer.

Answer this all you "new age" relativist sentimentalists:

Why does a violent death or unsatisfied young life killed through WAR have no affect on what you hold precious once inside an old building ?

They weren't there to begin with, or They were collateral damage some where else and as such they understand that sh#t happens and this was their fate ?

*smirk*

If this was true metaphysically, there would be a haunting in every pot. It's only fair while on the road to resource prosperity and the multitude of lives lost in pursuit of this goal.

Still, I have empathy for anyone who found themselves face down on the kitchen floor at 1.15 in the morning smelling alcohol and saying it was a ghost...

Nope..

I could give more detailed answers of what I believe, but when people smirk at me I tend to just want to say f*#k you.

Is that new agey enough for you?
