he invited me to go climbing once randomly through the inter webs, sadly I had to decline. One day, when my wife and kids stop looking at me disparagingly when I'm getting ready for a planned trip, I will take him up on this random offer. I get dirty looks for things that are calendared in, I can't imagine the ice fest for randomness. He has my vote for life.
post script: most weekends are packed it's hard to find a free weekend to disappear into the woods. My wife is not thrilled but tolerates it and knows it's good for the soul. Boy that has nothing to do with anything.

ah, my fellow Chostossians, now that I'll be working with my counterparts in the Supertopocongress. It becomes apparent to me that the average noob needs to know what my plan will be for the next 4 years.
by 2013 - another El Cap route
by 2014, or earlier - a big wall second ascent, perhaps clean?
by 2015, a Bud Light Lime in every crag pack (you're buyin)
by 2016, new choss route at Pinns
