This one is different. this is to keep the public notified of his next excursions.

Which is apparently a few days.

Preemptive chunking.

It's like masturbating before sex just in case you don't really get you some.

I will be heading to the Valley this weekend. I would love some new gear.

I will gladly remove Pete of all this gear that seems to be such a burden.

Hey, I am just volunteering to collect his trash for him.

I will gladly share.

Why wait for the toss? Just booty his stuff at the base after he's fixed a few pitches. Not fair. . . not ethical. . . I think he has already established that we don't need to care about 'rules'.

I stand by my previous statement in Matts tosser thread.

If I am in the Valley and someone tosses a bag and I can get to it first, I will sell every piece of gear and donate the money to the charitable cause or case of my choosing.

WTF Pete?

Meh ....

I will stand at base and wait for haul bag to bounce off my head to show how it's done.

2 aspirins and tiger balm for cure .....

Werner - come on man - call a spade a spade. Tossing bags of the Captain is so very wrong. Strong community consensus on this.

I like the idea of collecting the gear and selling it for charity.

I would also love to see Pete's reaction when he cries foul, and comes here posting for his bootied gear.

^^^ hahaha...that's what I was thinking!

Just to be ocd about this...

wouldn't Aspirin and tiger balm be considered a treatment rather than a cure?

guess you gotta watch out from above AND below these days...

I'm glad somebody is laughing ^^^^

Anyways ......

All these threads a stupid. It's been officially against the law to throw objects off El Cap for years now.

So why bother trying to educate?

It's against the law to begin with.

You will get ticket.

Big fine.

If the LEO finds out about this Pete and John will get cited if it is proven they are the guilty ones .......

I don't know Pete from the next guy, but it was odd to read him being the ethics/trash police with a very demanding tone on the otherwise cool Call of the Wild thread, and the next day read this stuff.

Probably a good lesson for myself, "judge not lest ye be judged."

I plan to be on top of the capitan' on Saturday. It just so happens I will have Advil, and tiger Balm with me.

My new plans are to toss the sh#t over the edge.

I will then Rap the hole face with a single rope, and wait for Pete's bootie.

I too was shocked to hear of Pete's customary method of getting his bags down after one of his epic wall ascents. How has this NOT been reported to Park Police or a ranger so that he can get cited just like the poor fool Chris whats-his-name that tried to rap off El Cap and got ripped (including by Pete)? Everyone was so incensed that young Chris and his clueless partner endangered YOSAR etc. in having to be rescued. Well, Pete's exploits are 10,000 times more dangerous and risky to many more than YOSAR. How can he chime in with lectures to Hudon and others about safe practices and ethics on El Cap and yet repeatedly toss his bags off the top of the cliff? He's the worst kind of hypocrite and it's a miracle no one has been hurt or killed by his selfish lazy actions.

Does anyone know a rhyme or a reason?

Maybe enroute he gotta broke back and he couldn't carry his shite down?
Maybe he quit climbing all together and hucked his shite out of despair?

Anyway, it sounds like a yard sale. how much for the Porta ledge?
