It's better style to land on your feet, but doesn't negate the descent if you don't.

Wow. I'm not sure I'm seeing the ramp. Is it the tree where to two curving lines end?

I think this is it right here......in the center of the pic, left of the tree.

Am I right or am I knott? Seems it should be higher––closer to the top.
What's the scoop?

There were a couple other photographers up there who are full-time pros. Jerry Dodrill who posts on this forum was there. I'm sure he has much better shots.

I dunno David, that first shot of yours is makes me watertight. Very crisp.

David, Great seeing you out there yesterday. And great shots! Holy Frickity! That was cool. I'll post some photos tomorrow. Just got home. It's hard for pictures or words to express the insanity. The video does a good job though.

Just in case you haven't seen this pic...

Current hucking recordholder Jamie Pierre doing his thing. This was late January '06.

what is a tindy? i thought i was just doing a tail grab...

it was a super cool event and worth noting: the forest service was really cool. they showed up and were a little anxious at first. but they took the time to hike up with us to the exit find out what was going on and gave us the green light.

yeah forest service!

this was an instance of where land managers were really really cool.

Beautiful pictures! I can't even begin to imagine being able to do that. How far down is it to the landing?

so rad.

I must learn to BASE jump. Mostly the "how do I deploy this f*#king thing before I go splat?" part, really...

Awesome pics.

yep, that was definitely a tindy grab.

overall, the snowboarders didnt represent so well and unfortunately i think all the photographers were gone when the good snowboarder showed up:

jim rippey busted a sick backflip 720... or was it a front flip 720? i was standing right under the wall when a guy came off spinning and twisting in all directions... so sick

Five min away is the Strawberry Lodge.

It has this great bowl where you all can do some more great huckin'.
My friend Duane Peters still works hard @ being a pro.

Im sure all you huckers know about the great bar at the lodge, too.
